What a perfect start to the week! 🎶❤️

Dianne and Michael Killen, also known as The Killens Acoustic Harmony, came in and put on an incredible performance, and our residents gave them a wonderful crowd! The music was amazing, and their passion and love for what they do truly shined through. They absolutely loved our community and our beautiful building, and we loved every minute of having them here.

There was something special about the way everything came together—the music, the atmosphere, and the smiles throughout the room. It all synced together perfectly!

A huge thank you to The Killens for sharing their talent with us. We cannot wait to welcome them back again soon! 🎸🎤❤️

we have been posting quite a bit this week, but our adventures just keep growing now that summertime is here! We truly love being able to spread our wings, enjoy so many activities, and share these special moments with all of you — our family and friends. ☀️🎶

Speaking of exciting things… we have a NEW music group coming to perform on Monday, June 1st! Please help us welcome Dianne and Michael Killen, also known as The Killens Acoustic Harmony!

They are award-winning musicians and songwriters who have been performing their uplifting acoustic music for over 25 years. Michael is an Emmy-winning composer, and Dianne is a past recipient of the prestigious Boston Music Award! Their music has been featured on Hallmark Channel, Lifetime, and RFD-TV, and they have even opened for The Beach Boys. One of their songs was also recorded by country artist Michael Martin Murphey!

Formerly based in Nashville, they made Colorado their home in 2004 and continue to perform locally and across North America.

We cannot wait for them to join us here at Mesa View and perform for our residents! Please come join your relatives here at Mesa View while enjoying some refreshing lemonade and iced tea as we listen to wonderful live music together. 🍋🧋🎵

So who’s in for a little competition!? Corn Hole at its finest!!! Very competitive, very fun, and very exciting! Some residents’ family members came in from out of town and joined in, and we all had an absolute blast! Our Celebrations Director and Larry were taking the crown home until David came barreling in ready to steal the lead!!

The shade was nice, the weather was gorgeous, and the laughs were nonstop! I’d say we definitely need another round… but this time bigger! More boards, more people, more competitors! Let the games really begin and turn this into a Mesa View championship! ♥️

Oh boy, can we at Mesa View tell you about the beauty of today!?

Let’s start off with our resident Stephen, who did a fantastic job running exercise class today! Woohoo! So proud! 👏 After our workout, we headed out for our Tuesday Lunch Bunch to Palisade Pizza & Pourhouse, and it was absolutely delicious! You can never go wrong out in Palisade, where the peaches are wonderful, the farms are beautiful, and the views are simply breathtaking.

Rick even took everyone on a mini scenic drive back to the facility afterward before Ice Cream Social! Then Mary filled the building with her beautiful piano tunes, as always. 🎹 To end the day, the Mesa View Minstrels played so elegantly and beautifully for everyone to enjoy.

What a wonderful day here at Mesa View! We are so grateful for the laughter, music, friendship, and memories being made every single day. We can’t wait for more adventures, more outdoor fun, and more beautiful moments together as summer approaches! ☀️🍑🎶
