🚨 LARRY IS CALLING THE SHOTS… AND APPARENTLY, THE BINGO NUMBERS TOO! 😂🎱

BINGO IS IN SESSION! 🎉

We had some BIG winners today, but honestly… I think the real winner was Larry and his ability to keep us all laughing! 😂👏

We had 29 players on Saturday and 28 players today!! 🤯😍 Our Bingo crew has gotten so big that our room was packed and we actually had to RELOCATE! I mean, Larry… what are you doing over there?! Starting a Bingo revolution?! 😂🎱

And just when you think the game is getting serious, Larry comes in with the jokes! Now that football season is here, he has apparently decided to add football-seasoned humor to his Bingo calling! 🏈😂 Between the numbers, the jokes, and Larry being Larry, the crowd was laughing all afternoon!

Today, we also had our Resident Engagement Director Sarah and our amazing volunteer Sara join in on the Bingo fun! 🎉 Of course, we had to make sure they were paying attention (due to Larry calling fake numbers or false info!) and not trying to sneak a win! 👀😂

Meanwhile, outside the wind was blowing, the rain was pouring, and Larry was still sitting there with a smile on his face, cracking jokes like the weather didn't stand a chance! 🌧️💨😂

Good job, Larry! 👏 You keep calling those numbers, telling those jokes, and keeping us all entertained! We wouldn’t want it any other way! ❤️

🍑 BIG SHOUT OUT TO IAN! 👏❤️

Ian is truly such a good soul! He works hard, goes to school, is always willing to learn something new, and continues to strive for success every single day. Today, we want to give him some well-deserved recognition because he made PEACH COBBLER completely from scratch! 🍑👨‍🍳

And WOW… was it absolutely AMAZING! 🤤 The flavor, the texture, the sweetness, the peaches—EVERYTHING was so perfectly combined and measured. You could truly taste the care and effort that went into making it.

Watching Ian grow from his very first day to where he is today has been incredible. He continues to learn more about food, cooking, and creating wonderful meals by listening to, learning from, and putting into practice everything Chef teaches, shows, and asks of him.

It is truly amazing watching our staff grow, learn, and support one another. ❤️

Teamwork divides the task and multiplies the success! 💪❤️

🌟 WE HAVE 1 DAY LEFT… AND WE’RE GOING ALL IN! 🌟
Okay, Mesa View family… I’m taking this to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL! 😂
We have 1 day left to help raise our Google reviews, and I’m asking our amazing residents, families, friends, supporters, and community to help us show the world what Solstice at Mesa View is really all about. ❤️
We work hard.
We play hard.
We laugh HARD. 😂
And every single day, we strive to make Mesa View the very best place it can be.
But honestly… our residents are the heart of this community. ❤️
Many of our residents first arrived here feeling somewhat lost. Some wondered, “Why did I leave my home? Why am I living here now? How is this supposed to be my home?”
And then something beautiful happened.
They found friends.
They found family.
They found purpose.
They found laughter.
They found joy.
And somewhere along the way, Mesa View stopped feeling like a place they moved to…
and started feeling like HOME. 🏡❤️
Now, these incredible people are some of the biggest reasons our staff feels at home here too. They have welcomed us into their lives, made us laugh, challenged us, inspired us, celebrated with us, and reminded us every day why what we do matters.
And no… it isn't always rainbows and butterflies. 🌈🦋
We have good days. We have hard days. We have moments that challenge us. But at the end of the day, we come together, we laugh, we keep moving forward, and we make the best of it.
That is what makes Mesa View special.
Our residents are our inspiration.
Our staff shows up every day with heart.
And together, we have created something that is so much more than a building.

🎭✨ A BEAUTIFUL START TO OUR WEEK AT SOLSTICE AT MESA VIEW! ✨🎭

Today, our residents had the wonderful opportunity to step back in time and learn about the fascinating history of Mary Joyce, a woman whose life and story have become an important part of our history.

Mary Joyce was a remarkable woman whose story reflects the strength, character, and experiences of the people who helped shape our community and the history around us. Her life offers a glimpse into another time and reminds us just how much we can learn from the stories of those who came before us. ❤️

We were so fortunate to have a beautiful crowd of residents join us for this special theatre performance. Jan Welch did an incredible job portraying Mary Joyce and bringing her story right into our community here at Mesa View! 🎭👏

There is something truly special about live theatre—it allows us to not only hear history, but to experience it.

What a wonderful way to begin our week! ❤️

🏈❤️ WHAT A NIGHT AT THE FOOTBALL GAME! ❤️🏈

We had SO much fun last night at the high school football game! Grand Junction High School vs. Central High School started out as a GREAT game, especially those first and second quarters! Then… well… things took a turn, and Central ended the night down 6–31! 😬😂

But honestly? The score didn't matter nearly as much as the memories we made! ❤️

We started the evening with Subway for dinner 🥪, headed to the game, and cheered our hearts out! We had plenty of laughs, jokes, and good conversations… even when that WIND decided to take over for a solid 45 minutes! 🌬️😂

Our residents made the night even more special by cheering on the Central High School cheerleaders, because our Resident Engagement Director's daughter is on the team! 📣❤️

And then we had another reason to cheer… Grand Junction High School! Our Executive Director's son is a senior and plays football for Junction — #52! 🏈💙

So yes… we were a little divided! 😂 We had reasons to cheer for BOTH sides!

And just when we thought the night couldn't get any better, Rick decided to sneak everyone out early before the crowd hit and took them for ICE CREAM! 🍦😂❤️

The laughter, the jokes, the cheering, the excitement, and just watching our residents have such a genuinely FUN night and made it one we won't forget anytime soon.

And apparently, we're not done yet… because they are ALREADY planning the next football adventure! 😂🏈 They definitely want to make it to a Junction home game, and the plans for our next game night are already underway!

Sometimes it's not about who wins or loses.

It's about the people you're with, the memories you make, and the laughter you take home with you. ❤️

Last night was definitely one for the books! 🏈🍦😂❤️
