Get ready to lace up for our 4th Annual Good Clean Fun Run, Walk & Roll — our biggest Member Appreciation Event of the year!

Families can take part in a fun-filled 1-mile course featuring exciting activity stations along the route. After crossing the finish line, enjoy even more fun with the return of our favorite ice cream truck , music by live DJ Kate Leep, community partners, games, and plenty of opportunities to connect with friends old and new.

Whether you run, walk, roll, or cheer from the sidelines, this is a day you won't want to miss.

Adventure and Action await West Michigan campers the next two weeks of summer camp!

Join us next week (June 15-18) for our OUTDOOR ADVENTURE CAMP where campers will learn from two competitive archery specialists, learn how to tie knots, explore the wonders of rocks and nature and much more!

Then it's time to let your super star shine during our KIDS ACTION STUDIO CAMP (June 22-25) where we will have a special visit from Lauren "Shmitty" Smith, local radio host, sharing about the fun adventures of working in radio, as well as kids having their turn to be film makers creating their own CHC production, and ending the week with a talent show.

SAVE THE DATE!✨

Hey West Michigan families, come celebrate Dad or the special person in your life at our upcoming DONUTS, DADS, & DRIVES event on Saturday, June 20 at 10am. 🏎

Families can enjoy exploring a variety of classic and sports cars on display throughout our parking lot, along with a special experience provided by our program partner, TESLA, who will have multiple vehicles on site, fun goodie bags for kids, and even a Cybertruck that kids can help custom paint!

Families will also have the chance to design their own cardboard cars to be entered into our online voting contest.🎨

Calling all 3 & 4 year olds! From hands-on activities and creative play to new friendships and exciting adventures, our Mini Camp is the perfect way for your child to enjoy their summer in a safe and nurturing environment.

Mini Camp runs Monday through Thursday, 9:30am-12pm, starting June 8th.

Summer themes include: Summer Splash, Outdoor Adventures, Action! Kids Media Studio, Animal Week, Super STEAM Scientists, Ultimate Explorers, Secret Spies and Superheroes & Messy, Wacky Creations.

🌿 Volunteers Needed! 🌿

We’re looking for volunteers to help keep our Children’s Healing Center sites in Southeast Michigan and West Michigan beautiful and welcoming for the families we serve.

Volunteer opportunities include:
🚜 Mowing lawns
🌱 Weeding flower beds
🌼 General outdoor landscaping help

We’re hoping to find individuals or groups who can help on a weekly or bi-weekly basis through October. Whether you can give a few hours once a week or every other week, your support makes a huge difference for our members and families.

If you enjoy being outdoors and want to give back in a meaningful way, we’d love to hear from you! 💚

🎨 Messy Makers | June 8th-June 11th, 9:30am-12:00pm
Creative campers will explore and express through textures, colors, and reactions in messy art and science activities. Messy Makers is perfect for sensory-seeking and creatively curious kids! Most messes will be made inside the Center, but we’ve added some outdoor time for even bigger, messier fun!

🍎 Top Chef Juniors | June 22nd-June 25th, 9:30am-12:00pm
Get ready for a hands-on culinary adventure! Campers will learn basic skills and explore kid-friendly recipes, edible Play-Doh, and silly sensory activities. It’s the perfect mix of learning, creativity, and tasty fun. Kids will even make the Center staff into human ice cream sundaes!

🚍 Magic School Bus | July 13th-July 16th, 9:30am-12:00pm
Magic School Bus: Journey Through Science will be an exciting week of hands-on exploration for campers! Each day, we’ll adventure through topics like health & the human body, space, STEM, and dinosaurs through fun experiments, creative activities, and imaginative play. Get ready to explore, discover and learn while having a blast with your CHC friends!

🌲 Camp Outside-In | July 27th-July 30th, 9:30am-12:00pm
Camp Inside Out invites campers into a fun-filled experience with excitement of the outdoors brought inside! Campers will enjoy tent play, guided nature walks, ceramics, campfire songs and more through hands-on, creative activities. Each day is designed to spark imagination, build friendships and keep kids engaged in playful discoveries.
