Another School Readiness event with Guilford County Schools! Thank you so much! Every event grows and the community is so amazing. Thank you. Thank you Guilford County Health Dept for immunization updates! Thank you UNCG school of psychology. Thank you to all of the certified medical interpreters that showed up to help all that needed. Thank you to our partners United Healthcare that came to assist clients and also interpret. Thank you to Rankin Schools and Rankin Church.

What an incredible way to kick off the Mission Mobile Health Conference! 💙💛

I had the honor of serving as the opening speaker, sharing a message that is at the heart of the work we do at UNCG School of Nursing Minerva’s Mobile Health:

M.O.B.I.L.E. — The Audacity to Bring Care Where It Belongs.

I was grateful to experience this conference alongside Dean Barksdale and Sarah Apel, MSN, RN, Nurse Manager, as we represented the UNCG School of Nursing and the power of nurse-led, community-centered mobile health.

But one of the most meaningful moments was welcoming Tony Guzman, a paramedic student from Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC).

Tony previously collaborated with our nursing and nurse practitioner students during our large-scale disaster preparedness training. Less than 48 hours later, she had the opportunity to see the work of UNCG School of Nursing Minerva’s Mobile Health move from simulation and training into real-time impact for her own family.

That is why we do this work.

We are not only preparing nursing and nurse practitioner students. We are intentionally creating opportunities for interprofessional education and development, because the next generation of healthcare providers must know how to learn together, communicate together, respond together, and ultimately care for communities together.

Mobile health is more than a vehicle.

It is education. Transformation. Care. Connection.

And every number we report represents a story—a person, a family, a student, a community, or a life touched because someone had the audacity to bring care where it belongs.

The number tells us HOW MANY.
The story tells us WHY IT MATTERED.

Proud to represent UNCG School of Nursing Minerva’s Mobile Health and even prouder of the students, faculty, staff, partners, and communities who keep this mission moving forward. 💙💛

What an amazing back to school, school readiness event! There is nothing like community coming together to take care of each other. Thank you Guilford County Schools, Guilford County Health Dept, UNCG Hearing and Speech! Wow!!!!!! Over 60 students served in 4 hours.

Can’t wait to do it again Tuesday!
