You have your nursery decorated, read all of the books about newborns, and you even have been doing inversions and hypnobirthing every day, but still feel feeling nervous about pushing a baby out?

Our Relax To Push Assessment may be the thing to put your mind at ease 🧘‍♀️

You can do this assessment during the third trimester, no matter if you are 28 weeks or 42 weeks!

At your assessment, we will test your pelvic floor’s ability to relax in various positions and see which positions are best for you. You can then let your OB or midwife know what positions your pelvic floor feels the most calm in ☺️

Interested in feeling more relaxed going into your labor and delivery? Click the link in the bio today to schedule your assessment, because knowledge is power!

Ever heard of prolapse? It happens when pelvic organs start to shift and push into the vaginal wall or re**um because of weakened pelvic floor muscles. This can cause discomfort, pressure and difficulty with s*x or using the toilet.

At Bloom, we want you to know that prolapse is pretty common and manageable with the right strategies! Strengthening your pelvic floor and doing specific exercises can make a huge difference. You don’t have to just live with it—there are plenty of ways to help you feel better.

Got questions or symptoms? Don’t be shy! Reach out, and let’s tackle it together. 💪🏼🌸

At Bloom Physical Therapy & Wellness, we take our slogan “Moms Helping Moms” seriously!

Kids need to come to appointments and you want to prioritize your pelvic health. We get it and we are here to help 👯‍♀️

Here’s some ways we help keep our patients’ children busy during sessions:

🪴 We baby wear your kiddo
🪴Provide healthy snacks and drinks
🪴Coloring books and colors
🪴Books
🪴Toys
🪴Have them be physical therapy “assistants”

So never worry about leaving a mess, crying babies, nursing during sessions, kids asking questions, bickering siblings, or kiddos on screens.

Come as you are Mama 🤍

Did you know kids can benefit from pelvic floor physical therapy too?
When people hear “pelvic floor PT,” they often think it’s only for pregnancy or postpartum—but pediatric pelvic floor physical therapy helps children develop healthy bladder and bowel habits and gain confidence in their bodies.

Treatment is always age-appropriate, fun, and non-invasive. We use play, movement, breathing, education, and exercises to teach children (and parents!) how the bladder, bowels, and pelvic floor work together.
Many families are told their child will “grow out of it.” While that can happen for some children, many benefit from early intervention that addresses the root cause rather than simply managing symptoms.
No child should miss out on sleepovers, sports, school, or everyday fun because of bladder or bowel challenges.

Have questions about pediatric pelvic floor PT? Drop them in the comments or send us a message!

That’s just part of motherhood.”
✨ Leaking when you sneeze.
✨ Pain with s*x.
✨ Feeling pressure or heaviness.
✨ Low back or pelvic pain.
✨ A core that doesn’t feel like your own.

These symptoms are common after pregnancy and birth—but common doesn’t automatically mean normal or something you have to accept forever.
You don’t have to “just live with it.”
You don’t have to wait until you’re done having kids.
And you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
Motherhood changes your body—but it doesn’t mean you have to settle for symptoms that are affecting your daily life.

💛 If you’ve ever been told, “That’s just part of motherhood,” let this be your reminder that your concerns are worth talking about.
👇 Which symptom were you told was “just part of motherhood”?
