Did you know kids can benefit from pelvic floor physical therapy too?
When people hear “pelvic floor PT,” they often think it’s only for pregnancy or postpartum—but pediatric pelvic floor physical therapy helps children develop healthy bladder and bowel habits and gain confidence in their bodies.
Treatment is always age-appropriate, fun, and non-invasive. We use play, movement, breathing, education, and exercises to teach children (and parents!) how the bladder, bowels, and pelvic floor work together.
Many families are told their child will “grow out of it.” While that can happen for some children, many benefit from early intervention that addresses the root cause rather than simply managing symptoms.
No child should miss out on sleepovers, sports, school, or everyday fun because of bladder or bowel challenges.
