I can honestly say that i could not have predicted this. I had no idea what I was getting into. No idea how much I would come to love being a part of so many people’s aesthetic journey. I just believed in Kat. Her passion. Her compassion. Her dream.
I owned and operated several other businesses before HOA. An entirely different industry, for 14 years. And before that, a corporate job for a pretty large company… also for 14 years. That’s approximately 31 years of business experience. And before House of Aesthetics, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do… what I was meant to do. If you’ve read other long Instagram posts on our page, you likely know that Kat and I are married.
It has been 6,207 days since we met. I still have the screenshot of our first online exchange. And in two days… that will be 7 years ago. We’ve made it through a lot of things together: loss of family; the loss of Kat’s precious pup of 18 years; Covid… with two separate businesses being managed and drowning throughout; two house moves; two HOA location expansions; swings in the economy; changes in health; changes of strategy; regular self-reflections… regular sentiments of: “Can we keep doing this?”
Being married to someone that means the world to you, and also running a business with them, is quite a thing. I know Kat agrees. It’s a lot. (Love you babe). It’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. And it’s also one of the most rewarding.
I would not change a thing.
Forever with you,
xo Christian
