We’re excited to finally share a feature from VoyageRaleigh highlighting Dr. Pooja Patel and the story behind Family Eye Wellness.

In the interview, Dr. Patel shares the journey that led her to create Family Eye Wellness, what shaped her approach to patient care, and why she believes eye care should be personal, unrushed, and centered around the individual sitting in the exam chair.

Her passion for pediatric eye care, vision therapy, functional vision, and helping patients truly understand their vision is at the heart of the practice she has built.

Dr. Patel didn’t want to create just another eye care practice. She wanted to create a place where patients and families feel heard, where there is time to ask questions, and where vision is looked at as part of the whole person—not simply a prescription or a 20/20 line. 💛
