If someone’s authenticity makes you uncomfortable, instead of immediately labeling or judging them, ask yourself:

What could be on the other side of my discomfort?

Maybe there’s something there worth exploring.

You might show up for the food.
Or you might come because you’re craving a night out.

And while you are there something happens.

You start talking.
You laugh.
You get a little vulnerable.
You realize the woman sitting across from you has been through some of the same things you have.

And somewhere between the first bite and the last goodbye…

you came for dinner and left with new friends.

That’s the magic of Girl Dinner.
