The Spring Branch Management District was created by the Texas Legislature in 2003 to provide supplemental programs and public services related to mobility, safety, urban design, and economic development. We enhance commerce, public safety, public health, commercial corridor upkeep and other qualities of life in the District. Today, the district is taking action on many fronts to create a safer, cleaner, and more prosperous community for those who live and work here.

A neighborhood bakery with a national reputation and a commitment to growing with its customers.

From James Beard Award recognition to being featured by The New York Times, Lil Koffeteria has earned attention well beyond Houston. But at its Spring Branch location, the experience is intentionally more relaxed, offering a welcoming place to enjoy a pastry, catch up with friends, or get some work done.

As the bakery continues evolving its menu, one of the most meaningful changes has been hearing from customers who can now explore options they previously avoided because of dietary concerns.

Through every chapter, Lil Koffeteria continues finding new ways to serve the community that supports it. ❤️

Sometimes the best opportunities are the ones you weren't looking for. 🏡🥐

After building his pastry career in Houston, appearing on national cooking shows, and gaining experience in New York kitchens, co-founder Vanarinn returned home to create something of his own.

When an unexpected opportunity to expand into Spring Branch came along, the Lil Koffeteria team saw potential in a neighborhood with room to grow.

What started as an unplanned expansion became an opportunity to introduce their creative pastries to a new part of Houston while becoming part of the neighborhood's evolving story.

Co-founder Vanarin grew up in Houston in a Cambodian refugee family, surrounded by the food businesses that helped many immigrant families build new lives. Those early experiences helped shape his connection to food and the flavors he shares today.

From Southeast Asian-inspired desserts to seasonal creations like mangosteen cream cake, Lil Koffeteria brings together cultural influences and imaginative baking in a way that's uniquely Houston.

Learn how to doodle Pokémon at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library (930 Corbindale Rd. Houston, TX 77024) on Tuesday, October 20th at 4:30 PM to learn to doodle dinosaurs! This program is for tweens ages 8-12. Siblings welcome!
In this class, Dalton will share his personal process for drawing Pokémon in your own style — encouraging creativity, and having fun with shape language to discover their own unique way of drawing them.

Dalton is a Texas-based artist who loves drawing dinosaurs, monsters, and Pokémon! His creature-focused artwork is inspired by a lifelong passion for paleontology, an appreciation for biodiversity, and a deep devotion to drawing.

He has created artwork for the prehistoric-themed coffee shop Cambrian Coffee as well as the Houston Museum of Natural Science, alongside his independent art practice where he brings ancient creatures to life in fun and imaginative ways.

Alongside these newer weekend offerings, you'll still find creative favorites like their Houston-inspired beef pho kolache and seasonal pastries that celebrate the city's diverse culinary influences.

At Lil Koffeteria, creativity and culture have always been at the heart of the menu. 🥐❤️

Founded seven years ago, the bakery celebrates Houston's diverse food scene and co-founder Vanarin's Cambodian heritage. More recently, a personal health journey inspired the team to explore a new direction: creating more diabetes-conscious baked goods.

After Vanarin's diabetes diagnosis, the team began looking at ways to make their pastries more accessible to customers navigating similar health challenges, while continuing to deliver the creative flavors they're known for.
