📦 SHIPPING & PICKUP UPDATE

We want to provide an update regarding customers packages that have been delayed in transit. Unfortunately, we have had numerous packages stuck at the Atlanta and Houston Post Office facilities, showing the same “in transit” status for nearly a month without movement or barely moving.

Rather than continue waiting and leave our customers without their orders, we made the decision to recreate and resend many of these packages ourselves.

As a result, many of the replacement packages are now back in route, while the remainder is being prepared for shipment TODAY. We also have customers who have chosen to pick up their packages directly.

BLOOD FLUKES PART 1

🚨 FLUKES CAN BE LINKED TO CANCER. YES, PARASITIC WORMS CAN PLAY A ROLE IN CANCER RISK.

Not all flukes cause cancer, but several medically important parasitic flatworms have been classified as carcinogenic to humans because of their association with chronic inflammation, tissue injury, and other biological changes.

🩸 SCHISTOSOMA HAEMATOBIUM → BLADDER CANCER

This blood fluke can live in the veins surrounding the urinary tract. Its eggs can become trapped in bladder tissue, causing years of inflammation, irritation, scarring, and tissue damage.

Chronic infection with S. haematobium is associated with bladder cancer, particularly squamous cell carcinoma.

🩸 SCHISTOSOMA JAPONICUM → LIVER & COLORECTAL CANCER

Chronic infection with S. japonicum can cause persistent egg deposition and inflammation in the liver and intestines.

Our research has associated S. japonicum infection with increased risks of hepatocellular carcinoma, or liver cancer, and colorectal cancer.

🪱 CLONORCHIS SINENSIS & OPISTHORCHIS VIVERRINI → BILE DUCT CANCER

These are liver flukes, not blood flukes.

They live primarily in the bile ducts. Long-term infection can cause chronic inflammation and damage to the biliary system and is strongly associated with cholangiocarcinoma, a cancer of the bile ducts.

🔥 THE COMMON THREAD?

Chronic parasitic infection can create a prolonged inflammatory environment.

Repeated tissue injury, immune responses, fibrosis, and cellular changes can contribute to an environment in which cancer can develop.

That does NOT mean every person with a fluke infection will develop cancer.

It means certain long standing fluke infections are recognized cancer risk factors, which is why diagnosis and appropriate treatment matter.

🌎 These infections are particularly important in regions where people have had exposure to contaminated freshwater or consumed raw or undercooked freshwater fish and other aquatic foods.

A parasite may be microscopic, but the biological consequences can be enormous.

Know your exposure history. Know the risks. And if you have unexplained urinary, liver, biliary, or intestinal symptoms, talk with a qualified healthcare professional about appropriate testing.
