I just published a new essay on Substack about finding my way back — through some unexpected books, a lot of honest reflection, and finally letting my creativity come out the way it actually wants to, not the way I thought it "should."

It's personal. It's a little messy (just like my creativity;)

Pain has a way of demanding our attention.
But what if, instead of fighting it or pushing through it, we paused long enough to ask — what is this trying to tell me?
Pain is one of the body's most honest messengers. And when we stop long enough to listen — really listen to what is underneath the noise — something shifts.
I've had the privilege of sitting with clients navigating chronic pain; I also navigate it in my own life. What I've witnessed again and again is this: when the relationship with pain begins to change, so does the relationship with ourselves; quite radically. Old patterns release. A different way of inhabiting yourself becomes possible.
