In 2026 BRIDGE for Community Life has once again received an Epilepsy Services Grant from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services to provide staff training and daily living skills instruction for clients living with epilepsy.

Knowing exactly how to help can literally save a life. You don't need to be a medical professional to make a difference:
✋ Stay with the person and time the seizure.
🛡️ Safe - Keep them safe by moving hard objects away and placing something soft under their head.
🫳 Side - Gently roll them onto their side to help keep their airway clear.

Did you know this week was Gardening Week?! 🌿

BRIDGE Day Services clients and staff have once again been hard at work planting flowers, herbs, and veggies for our gardens.
We especially can't wait to make tasty, healthy recipes with things straight from the garden!

The Brakke garden project is made possible thanks to funds from community grants including the Xcel Energy Foundation grant. Thank You for your support!

Remember the benches and picnic table you funded through last December? They are officially ready for our BRIDGE clients to enjoy! A massive shoutout to our incredible neighbors, the crew at Halverson Concrete Solutions, who volunteered their time yesterday to build and deliver them.
