Hi, I’m Courtney — a NICU nurse, IBCLC, and mom behind Huntsville Lactation & Wellness.

I’ve spent years caring for babies and supporting families during some of the most vulnerable and transformative moments of early parenthood. Through both my professional experience and my own motherhood journey, I’ve seen how overwhelming the postpartum period can feel when families are expected to “just figure it out.”

That’s why I created this space.

I’m passionate about helping parents feel informed, supported, and confident — without shame, fear tactics, or unrealistic expectations.

I believe mothers deserve better support.
I believe parents deserve practical education.
And I believe feeding and caring for a baby should never feel like something you have to survive alone.

A few things about me:

•The mountains are always calling my name
•I have been happily married for 11 years
•I am a homeschool mom
•I am an advocate of mothers and babies
•I think it’s important to be a strong mom, mentally & physically

After almost 2 years of serving North Alabama families through lactation and newborn care, I’m excited to officially introduce Huntsville Lactation & Wellness. (Formerly Wholehearted Infant Support)

This account may be new, but my passion for supporting mothers and babies is not. It feels like putting down roots in a place I love.

I’m a NICU nurse and IBCLC providing evidence-based, compassionate support for breastfeeding, newborn care, and early parenthood. My goal is to help families feel informed, supported, and confident during one of the biggest transitions of their lives.
