NDT is:
• An advanced "hands-on" therapeutic approach that helps guide the individual to more efficient functional abilities. It utilizes principles of motor development, motor control, motor learning, and other supporting scientific principles to improve basic body functions.
• Engaging and motivating. Our goal is client motivation through intervention that includes "hands-on" physical guidance s

trategies, verbal cues, and feedback, gradually adjusting over time according to client’s needs and emerging skills.
• With the client and family at the center, the therapist uses a proven, industry-standard model to assess activity and participation in daily routines. Then, building on the client’s functional strengths, the NDT therapist identifies movement problems and, along with the family and client, sets achievable goals to improve function.

Thank you to Lydia Terry from Abbvie Vylav speaking at our Parkinson’s support group this evening about the Levadopa pump that is being used more for individuals with Parkinson’s. It was great to hear about several individuals that have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s about all their stresses with taking medication to assist with their symptoms from their Parkinson’s. We especially love all the support that each individual has for each other even if they have never met before this day. We are planning on having another support group in September but we are unsure of the date yet. Please keep an eye on our page for more information.

We have had some therapists interested and wanted to share this again before we close our interviews. We are looking for a PRN OT and COTA. We are also looking for a part time physical therapist which could potentially turn into full time with the right therapist in this position. Please send a resume or give us a call. One on one treatment sessions that you won’t find anywhere else. Friendly work environment, flexible schedule, and a great learning environment.

We are growing and looking for a physical therapist part time, occupational therapist PRN and a certified occupational therapist assistant to join our team. Did you know that Salience NeuroRehab treats BPPV/vertigo? Our specialized goggles are able to record an individual’s eyes while we assess a patient’s vestibular system. Our patient’s eyes are showing us a positive response for a diagnosis of BPPV where crystals are dislodged in her ear canals. She has had this dizziness for years and didn’t know she had this condition. Now she has relief from her dizziness from our treatment. Give us a call how our therapists can help you with your dizziness, difficulty with your balance, or visual deficits.
