St. Bernards will receive more than $14.5 million in Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) grants to enhance healthcare access and technology in rural Northeast Arkansas.🎉

We're excited to announce that St. Bernards will receive more than $14.5 million in Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) grants to enhance healthcare access and technology in rural Northeast Arkansas.

First, the St. Bernards Rural Care Connectivity Network will receive $5 million to expand rural care options in Baxter, Cross, Randolph, Fulton, Mississippi, Lawrence, Clay and Craighead counties. These services include virtual visits with doctors and providers, remote health monitoring, upgraded hospital rooms with smart-room technology and emergency-response tools. Our innovative PACT Rural Care Network, meanwhile, will receive $9.55 million to roll out new technology across six healthcare facilities in Cross, Randolph, Lawrence, Clay and Craighead counties. Ultimately these funds will help staff communicate seamlessly and further enhance patient safety.

Both projects, slated to roll out over the next year, support St. Bernards' goal of bringing better technology and more coordinated care closer to patients, no matter how far they live from a hospital.

St. Bernards is grateful for Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and her dedicated teams who are passionate about rural healthcare and demonstrate their passion through meaningful action.

✨ Volunteer Spotlight: Tanna Kraus ✨

A huge THANK YOU to Tanna Kraus for the incredible compassion she shares through her work as a volunteer at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House and our No One Dies Alone (NODA) program.

Tanna is giving the gift of presence to our patients and their families when they need it most. Her kindness reminds us that sometimes the greatest gift we can give is simply being there.
