The Le Sueur Rotary Club rolled up their sleeves and got to work, packing food boxes for 36 families on Tuesday afternoon! These boxes will go home with students dealing with food insecurity, to help families start summer off on the right foot.

The 36 boxes packed by Rotary members weighed in totaling 2,239 pounds of food!! 💪

Rotarian Nate Warden recently provided an update to our club regarding the Le Sueur Chamber.

The Chamber has transitioned into a volunteer-run organization with a community-focused approach. Current projects include developing a community calendar and supporting city spring clean-up efforts.

Several Le Sueur Rotarians enjoyed a night out at Chanhassen Dinner Theater last week, to see the production “Guys and Dolls”. 🎭

It was a wonderful night to relax and spend time with great people. 🎶

Tuesday was a very special day for our Rotary Club and the students of Le Sueur-Henderson Elementary School, as the new Book Vending Machine was dedicated.

Rotary President Cheryl Amundson said it best, in her comments at the dedication ceremony:

“This Book Vending Machine became a reality because of shared vision and strong partnerships. The administrators and staff at LSH believe deeply in the power of reading to change lives. That vision aligned perfectly with the passion of Le Sueur Rotarians—especially David and Betty Jo Braun and Connie LeVine and Henry Endres—who saw not just a machine, but a mission.

Through the generosity of the Le Sueur Rotary Club and the Legacy Fund of Le Sueur Rotary—and with the gift of the first books to fill it—this machine is now here for you, our students.”

Congratulations to all on the realization of this outstanding community project! 👏👏
