Alpha Event Medicine Kentucky's premier provider of on-site medical care and safety consulting.

Alpha Event Medicine was founded by a partnership of EMS providers, emergency medicine physicians, and ER nurses with a goal of raising the bar for event safety in Kentucky. Our team is composed of a collection of experts with leadership experience providing care at the pinnacle of sports and entertainment, including SEC Football, SEC Basketball, the PGA Tour, NASCAR, IRL, Thoroughbred Racing at the most prestigious venues, elite equine events such as the Land Rover Three Day Event, and a wide variety of other mass gatherings. We have a team of paramedics, EMTs, and medical professionals that can provide turnkey solutions to on-site patient care and transport for your public or private event. Our providers are well integrated and connected with local EMS services, emergency departments, and healthcare organizations to provide effective communication and transitions of care.

Closing out Summer of ’26 by celebrating 5 years of Alpha Event Medicine.

Event medicine asks a lot of the people who do it. It means early mornings, late nights, and weekends—often on top of a full-time job in EMS.

Our providers give a lot of their time to Alpha, and they take great care of the people and places we’re trusted to serve. We don’t take that for granted.

Getting the chance to celebrate them—and the families who support them—meant everything to us. The work is meaningful, but the people we get to do it alongside are what make it truly special.

Here’s to five years of Alpha Event Medicine, and to the people who have made all of it possible.

Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center is a state-of-the-art track and field facility right here in Louisville, KY. As one of only a few facilities of its kind in the country, we’re proud to provide medical services for this incredible venue and happy to do it alongside Norton Sports Health
