Twice a year I have the privilege of presenting the Daisy Nurse Leader Award 🌼 and I was honored to be able to share this with Eddie Williams, BSN, RN, CBIS Assistant Director of our Brain Injury Program.
Eddie was nominated by a colleague who shared pages of examples of why Eddie is so deserving of this recognition. Here are just a couple of examples-
“Through his decades-long career, Eddie has demonstrated that professional excellence in healthcare requires more than clinical skill. His actions consistently reflect a foundation of trust, compassion, mutual respect, lifelong professional development, and unwavering ethical behavior, creating an environment where these qualities are modeled and supported.”
“Above all, Eddie leads by example. He listens deeply, values diverse perspectives, and brings stakeholders together to create solutions that benefit both TBI survivors and providers. His enthusiasm for improving care is contagious, and his ability to inspire others ensures that every team member feels part of a mission larger than themselves.”
Thank you Eddie for being an extraordinary nurse leader and all you do for your colleagues and this special patient population. ❤️
