Congratulations ! Favorite Pose: Mermaid Pose (Eka Pada Rajakapotasana) – a graceful variation of Pigeon Pose that celebrates my hard-earned flexibility, strength, and open heart.
Years of practice: I’ve been practicing yoga since October 2022, almost 4 years.
My Story: After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022 and enduring multiple surgeries, my road to recovery was incredibly challenging. Standard physical therapy left me frustrated and unable to even lift my arms, so I began searching for a local practice that could truly help me rebuild and return to normal life. Just Bee Yoga became that sacred sanctuary for me—a place so special that I later shared it with my daughter Debbie, whose name beautifully means ‘bee.’ Yoga did what physical therapy couldn’t, completely transforming me both physically and mentally. Moving from a place of limited mobility to finding strength and grace on the mat has been deeply healing, and it has truly given me my body, my bond with my daughter, and my peace of mind back.
