One cancer-fighting food you don’t want to skip: edamame! 💚

Edamame is a great source of plant-based protein, fiber, and beneficial plant compounds, making it a part of the Beller Framework.

I love keeping edamame on hand because it’s so easy to add to salads, grain bowls, stir-fries, or enjoy as a simple snack. Remember, it’s not about one “magic” food, it’s about building a pattern of eating that includes a variety of protective plant foods.

Do you keep edamame in your freezer?

One of my favorite easy ways to sneak in a little more protein + fiber? Peas! 🫛

They’re affordable, easy to keep on hand, and such a simple way to add more plant-based protein + fiber to your meals.

I love sautéing them with leeks + Beller Nutrition Vegitude Power for a delicious side that comes together in minutes.

Small upgrade. Big nutrition payoff.

Make eating more vegetables the easy choice. 🥗
I love creating a simple little “salad bar” in my fridge with a few prepped vegetables—shredded cabbage, tomatoes, radishes, carrots—and giving each one its own flavor with a drizzle of cold-pressed olive oil, lemon or vinegar, a touch of sea salt, and different Spice Synergy blends.

No complicated recipes. Just simple ingredients, ready to mix, match, and build into meals all week.
Because eating more vegetables gets a whole lot easier when they’re already prepped, flavorful, and waiting for you.

What would you add to your fridge salad bar?

If there’s one thing I’d focus on, it’s learning a real framework.

Because once you have a framework, healthy eating starts to feel a whole lot easier. 🤍

And that’s where meal prep becomes such a game changer—not just for convenience, but for helping you consistently build meals that support your long-term health.

The best part? It doesn’t have to be complicated.
Start with your favorite veggies and a protein. Chop, toss with a quality oil, add a sprinkle of Beller Nutrition Spice Blends, and roast or bake.
That’s it.

No spending hours in the kitchen. No complicated, time-consuming recipes. Just simple ingredients, big flavor, and nourishing meals ready to go.

This month, we’re sharing easy, approachable, plant-forward salads you can prep ahead—packed with the kinds of ingredients I love to emphasize for cancer risk reduction and long-term health.
Stay tuned! 🤍

This isn’t about garbanzo beans.
It’s about the pattern.

One meal won’t reduce cancer risk. One “superfood” won’t either. What matters is the framework you repeat over time: consistently building meals with a variety of protective plant foods.

Every colorful vegetable. Every bean. Every herb. Every spice. Each brings its own mix of fiber and beneficial plant compounds. And together, they add up to something far more meaningful than any single ingredient.

That’s why I don’t teach food rules. I teach a framework you can actually repeat.

Today’s example? A simple garbanzo bean salad I share with patients because it’s easy, delicious, and another opportunity to add more good.

So instead of asking, “Is this food healthy enough?” ask:

“What can I add to this meal to make it even better?”
That’s the shift. Not perfection. Not one superfood. A pattern you can repeat.

Welcome back to another episode of Beller Check! 👀

When I’m choosing hummus, I like to see chickpeas front and center, a simple ingredient list, and no unnecessary extras.

This one keeps it pretty straightforward and makes an easy, flavorful way to add more plant-based goodness to meals and snacks.

What should I Beller Check next?
