Sometimes healing isn’t about having the perfect words. 🤍

Sometimes it’s the quiet moments:
a hand on their back,
a calming touch,
a safe home,
a nervous system that feels loved.

One of the most beautiful reminders from my conversation with Kari Davis was this: presence is medicine too.

Carbon vs. Ceramic Infrared Heaters ♨️ There are two types of infrared technology on the market today: Carbon and Ceramic.

Each can provide a safe, steady source of infrared heat, but by combining the two, I believe we have clear winner.

Carbon heaters produce high quality, long-wave infrared heat, but the problem is that they do not produce a high quantity of infrared heat.

Ceramic heaters, on the other hand, are powerful and can emit a high quantity of infrared heat, but the wavelengths emitted tend to be shorter, thus less effective and therapeutic (lower quality).

Yes, you can have high quality and high quantity.

The solution is somewhere in the middle, and that’s why I recommend Clearlight True Wave™ Far Infrared Heaters. By combining Carbon and Ceramic technologies you get the best of both in a heater that’s able to produce the kind of high quality / high quantity infrared heat that can produce the best results.

These heaters are comprised of micro-thin carbon fibers (1/1000th the thickness of a human hair) combined with a patented, micro-fine ceramic compound for higher infrared output (emissivity). Clearlight manufactures all its heaters in their own factory.

This innovative technology produces a heater with tremendous output and high thermal emissivity.

Each heater is tested under power for several hours and measured for the electrical draw, surface temperature, and EMF output in twelve locations.

This week on Homes That Heal, I’m joined by Kari Davis for a heartfelt conversation about grief, motherhood, faith, wellness, intuition, and what it really means to create a healing home.

We talk about the moment essential oils opened the door to deeper healing - navigating unimaginable loss while raising children and the emotional side of wellness that nobody talks about enough.

Sometimes the most powerful healing tools are the simplest ones: touch, presence, love, faith, and creating safety within our homes.

Kari’s heart is so genuine and this conversation stayed with me long after we stopped recording. I think it might stay with you, too. 🤍

After nearly losing her life, Antoinette Lee stopped asking, “What’s realistic?” and started asking:

“If I wasn’t worried about money, logistics, or what other people thought, how would I truly want to live?”

🌿And then she did something even more powerful.

She started living as that version of herself before the external reality had fully arrived.

Even while using a walker.
Even while terrified.
Even before the healing was complete.

One small aligned step at a time.

What if healing isn’t only about what we eat, the supplements we take, or the routines we follow, but also the spaces we live inside every day?

This conversation with Antoinette Lee reminded me how deeply our homes impact our nervous systems, our emotions, our energy, and our ability to truly rest.

So many of us are living in environments that look “fine” on the outside, while our bodies quietly stay stuck in overwhelm, sensory overload, and survival mode.

The beautiful part is that healing shifts don’t always have to be dramatic.

Sometimes it begins with:
- Opening the curtains
- Clearing the clutter
- Softening the lighting
- Bringing nature indoors
- Creating space to actually exhale

Your home should feel like a sanctuary, not another source of stress.

I’d love to know… what’s one thing in your home that instantly helps you feel calm and grounded? 🪴

After years of illness, surgeries, medications, and survival mode, Antoinette reached a moment where she truly believed she was dying.

And instead of panic, she asked God for one more day.

One more day to understand why her body was breaking down.
One more day to find another way.
One more day to turn her pain into purpose and help others heal too.

This episode is so powerful, and I’m so thankful for Antoinette joining us to share it.

Arrived at the BEYOND Biohacking Conference and I already know this week is going to stretch, inspire, and challenge me in all the best ways. 🤍

Are you here, too? If you are, comment below so I know to look for you, and be sure to say hi when you see me!

I’m excited for the conversations that go deeper than trends. The ones about true healing, nervous system regulation, longevity, light, energy, purpose, connection, and what it really means to create a life that feels aligned from the inside out.

I’m especially looking forward to learning from people who are bridging science, spirituality, innovation, and human potential in ways that actually feel grounded and accessible.

And honestly? One of my favorite parts of events like this is meeting people face-to-face who care deeply about living well, thinking differently, and creating homes, bodies, and lives that truly heal.

I’m especially excited to see speakers Jay Shetty, Jim Kwik, Arthur Brooks, Dr Gabrielle Lyon, Dr Jess Peatross and of course, the one and only, Dave Asprey. Plus! I get to connect with my friends at Intelligent Threads, PulsePEMF, Essentia Bed, ENERGYbits and Flowpresso.

I’ll be sharing some of my favorite takeaways, discoveries, and moments throughout the week, so stay tuned. ✨

Dry brushing has been one of my favorite wellness rituals for years! ✨

Not only does it support lymphatic drainage, circulation, and skin exfoliation, but I genuinely feel like it helped support my skin elasticity while I was losing 100 pounds years ago.

A few minutes a day can go a long way.

One of the biggest tips: always brush toward your heart. 🤍

I usually start at the bottoms of my feet and work upward using long sweeping motions.

And honestly, it just feels really good, too!

Your sauna session actually starts before you even step into the heat! 🔥♨️

One of the questions I get asked often is how to help the body warm up faster before you sauna, especially for people who:

- Struggle to sweat
- Always feel cold
- Want to support circulation + lymphatic flow
- Want to maximize their sauna time

The good news? It doesn’t have to be complicated.

I’ve found that gently raising the body’s core temperature before hopping into the sauna helps my body transition into the heat more naturally and efficiently, while also helping me feel more energized afterward.

The goal isn’t to force the body. It’s to support it. 🤍

Swipe through for 5 of my favorite ways to warm up before sauna therapy. ✨
