Louise Greencorn, Palliative Care APRN at The Queen’s Medical Center – West Oahu, and Hospital Facility Dog Ernie
📍 The Queen’s Medical Center – West Oahu | Palliative Care
Louise and Ernie will bring comfort, connection, and reassurance to patients and families navigating serious and life-limiting illness. Louise provides symptom management, emotional support, education, and guidance through difficult healthcare decisions and goals-of-care conversations. Ernie will help ease anxiety and provide meaningful therapeutic support to patients and families during some of life’s most vulnerable moments.
Christine Loui, Director of Behavioral Health at The Queen’s Medical Center - Kahi Mohala and Hospital Facility Dog Elroy
📍 The Queen’s Medical Center - Kahi Mohala | Behavioral Health
Elroy and Christine will support youth ages 5–18 receiving inpatient residential psychiatric care through therapeutic activities, emotional regulation, social skills, sensory-based interventions, and moments of connection. For youth who have experienced trauma, struggle with emotional regulation, or have difficulty trusting and communicating with adults, Elroy will provide comfort, co-regulation, motivation, and opportunities to build social skills. He will also participate in sensory-based and deep-pressure interventions with Occupational Therapy.
