New on the blog: Maybe the Hulk Had A Point

I mean, what are we supposed to do with all our anger energy?

Turns out Dandelion may have something to say about that :)

Read it here👇

What if anger isn’t something to get rid of? An exploration of anger, what happens when it gets stuck, and what dandelion can teach us about giving it somewhere to go.

It's market day.

The boxes are packed, the tinctures are loaded, and I'm hoping I remembered everything this time. 🙄

If you're out wandering today, stop by and say hello.

You don't have to buy anything. Come smell the herbs, ask questions, tell me what's growing in your garden, or just escape the crowds for a few minutes.

I'll be the one surrounded by plants.

Friendly reminder from your neighborhood herbalist.

Drinking herbal tea while answering emails with 47 tabs open isn't really relaxing.

The tea is doing its part.

You might have to do yours.

Just a thought 😏💚🌿

Summer is St. John's Wort Oil.

Too much sun.
Too much doing.
Too much "sure, I can fit one more thing in."

I've got some fresh bottles with me at the farmers' market today.

Stop by, say hi. You know I love talking plants.

What if we start seeing everything as an offer?

Seeing every experience, every emotion, every interaction as an invitation, not a demand or a punishment.

It's a shift from reaction to choice.

It doesn’t mean everything that happens is right or good.

It means that everything holds the possibility of growth, awareness, or insight if we choose to accept the invitation, the offer.

That’s sovereignty.

If I had to choose a plant that embodies sovereignty, it would be Oak because it reminds me that sovereignty isn't about controlling life. It's about standing rooted in yourself, no matter what life offers.

Goldenrod harvest time!

The name Goldenrod is wonderfully literal.

It comes from Old English roots: golden for the bright yellow flowers of late summer, and rod, meaning a straight stem or staff.

But the name is more than a description.

It sounds like a golden wand, a staff, a scepter. Something upright, radiant, and powerful.

It’s like a golden staff running through your center, a gentle but unwavering alignment of soul and self.

Goldenrod reminds you what it feels like to stand in your own light. To move through the world with integrity.

So, Goldenrod is more than a name. It’s a posture. A frequency. It's the medicine of standing upright in your own life.

I still smell herbs before I use them.

Every single time.

I don't know if it's necessary.

I just like saying hello.
