We recently had the opportunity to attend the Oregon Employment and Training Association Rendezvous Conference in Newport and left feeling genuinely inspired by the level of collaboration, care, and commitment across Oregon’s workforce development community.

It was a valuable experience to connect with so many teams doing meaningful work across the state.

We’re excited to continue that momentum in partnership with Oregon Employment and Training Association through an upcoming webinar:

Better Conversations, Better Connections

Workforce development is inherently collaborative—and the ability to communicate clearly across staff, employers, and community partners is essential.

In this session, we’ll focus on:
• Strengthening clear, assertive communication
• Practicing presence-based listening
• Navigating differing priorities with empathy and respect

Participants will walk away with practical, immediately applicable tools to support more effective, productive conversations across their teams and partnerships.
We’re honored to contribute to this work and support leadership and teams across Oregon.

Schedule: May 19, 11-12 p.m.

Parenting a teen isn’t about having all the answers, it’s about learning how to stay connected while they figure out who they are.
In a world of constant screens, pressure, and noise, teens don’t need more advice, they need space to be heard, to grow, and to build confidence in who they’re becoming.

That’s exactly what we create at True Colors.
A space where teens step away from distractions, form real connections, and learn the communication and life skills that help them navigate today’s challenges.
If you’ve been wondering how to better support your teen, this is a powerful place to start.
