Miami DDA The Miami Downtown Development Authority grows & strengthens the economic health of Downtown Miami.

The Miami Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is committed to improving the quality of life for businesses, employees, residents, and visitors in downtown Miami. As an independent agency of the City of Miami, the Miami DDA supports business growth, infrastructure improvements, and services for Downtown Miami residents and stakeholders. In addition to its programs and initiatives, the Miami DDA is

partnering with the City and other government entities to strengthen Downtown Miami’s position as an international center for commerce, culture, and tourism. The organization is governed by a 15-member board comprised of three public appointees and 12 downtown property owners, residents and/or workers. Building a stronger means creating the conditions for businesses, residents, and neighborhoods to thrive. From clean streets and public spaces to transportation, small business support, arts and culture, and community resources, the Miami DDA is investing in what makes a difference every day.

Nearly 60% of our proposed budget is dedicated to programs and services that directly impact quality of life, while also supporting transportation improvements, small business assistance, façade improvement grants, the 2050 Downtown Master Plan, and more. 

We’re also lowering the Miami DDA’s millage rate while prioritizing responsible stewardship of public dollars.

As we shape the proposed budget, we want to hear from you. We invite you to join us at a community town hall to learn more about the proposed priorities, ask questions, and share what matters most to you. We’re here to listen and continue the conversation about the future of Downtown Miami.

Bring your vision to . 🎨

The Downtown Creative Collaborators Grant (DCCG) returns, with applications open July 1 through August 17. This program supports creative projects, cultural programming, and public activations that celebrate creativity, culture, and connection while bringing new energy to Downtown Miami's public spaces.

From streets and parks to plazas, rooftops, and other unique venues, we're looking for ideas that inspire people to gather, connect, and experience the District in new ways.
