Three years ago, I took one of the biggest leaps of faith of my career and opened the doors to Evolve Beauty Studios. 🖤

I had no idea exactly what these next three years would hold. I just knew I had a vision for a space where women could build their businesses, clients could feel at home, and we could all continue to grow and evolve.

And wow… have these three years taught me a lot.

Owning a business isn’t always the pretty parts you see on social media. It’s long days, hard decisions, sleepless nights, taking risks, learning from mistakes, navigating change, and sometimes wondering if you’re doing any of it right.

But it’s also watching dreams come to life.

It’s watching stylists grow behind their chairs. It’s seeing clients walk through our doors year after year. It’s friendships, laughter, celebrations, tears, new beginnings and so many life moments shared inside these walls.

Evolve has changed a lot in three years — and so have I.

I think that’s what makes the name Evolve mean even more to me today than it did when I chose it.

Because evolving doesn’t mean having everything figured out. It means continuing to grow through every season, trusting God with what’s ahead, and becoming who you’re meant to be along the way.

To every stylist who has been part of Evolve, every client who has sat in our chairs, every person who has recommended us, supported us, shared our posts or simply cheered us on — thank you. You have helped make this dream what it is today.

September 1st marked THREE YEARS of Evolve Beauty Studios.

Three years down, and I’m still evolving.

A little more than just updos…

I had a bride recently ask me, “How many makeup applications do you do in a year?” And it honestly made me stop and think.

If you know me, you probably know me most for bridal hair and updos. That has always been such a huge part of NB Locks of Gold and something I absolutely love doing.

But lately? I’ve been finding myself behind the makeup brush more and more… and I’m really loving it. 🤍

One thing I’ve realized is that finding a bridal stylist who is willing to travel to you for both hair and makeup isn’t always easy — and that’s something I’m proud to offer my brides.

Whether you’re getting ready at a venue, hotel, Airbnb, or somewhere special to you, I can bring the glam to you.

So while updos might always be what I’m “known for,” don’t forget about the other side of NB Locks of Gold.

Doing Bailey’s hair and makeup for one of the biggest days of her life felt a little extra special. 🤍

I’ve known Bailey since she was just 7 years old. Somehow, we went from rodeo queening together, to working alongside each other, to now watching her step into some of the most beautiful chapters of life — becoming a wife and a mama.

There’s something so special about getting to watch someone grow through so many different seasons of life, and even more special to have had a front-row seat for so many of them.

Bailey, it was such an honor to be a small part of this chapter. From that little 7-year-old girl to the woman, wife, and mama you are today… what a beautiful full-circle moment. 🤍
