New research is showing what many of us already know - Reiki treatments make a real difference. And now we know that is also the case for Epileptics.

A 2024 randomised controlled trial published in Epilepsy & Behavior looked at what happens when people with epilepsy receive Reiki treatments alongside their usual medical care.

The results? Better sleep. Better quality of life. And a recommendation from the researchers themselves that Reiki treatments be used alongside standard nursing care for epilepsy patients.
