The Alabama State Personnel Department is upgrading its system. "Applicants will need to create a new profile in NeoGov once the new system launches. Before October 14, applicants are encouraged to log in to their current Online Employment System (OES) account and save or copy any information they may want to use when creating their new NeoGov profile."

Applying for jobs with the State of Alabama is about to get much easier! In late October we will be launching NeoGov, our new and modern application portal, alongside a brand new website!

NeoGov’s job application platform is already used successfully across dozens of states and many local entities here in Alabama. We expect our applicants will feel right at home with a familiar, easy-to-use job application platform.

Before the new platform launches, here are some things you should know:

Job classifications will be temporarily closing as we move to the NeoGov system.

Applicants will need to create a new profile in NeoGov once the new system launches. Before October 14, applicants are encouraged to log in to their current Online Employment System (OES) account and save or copy any information they may want to use when creating their new NeoGov profile.

Once NeoGov goes live, applicants will be able to quickly set up a new account and apply for open positions.

We’ll be providing frequent updates. Please continue to monitor our social media and website for information on job closings and the NeoGov launch. We appreciate your patience as we streamline for success and build a faster, better job application platform for the State of Alabama!
