Hey everyone! 👋
I wanted to jump on here and finally put a face to the page. My name is Mikayla, I am 27, and I live in Murfreesboro. 📍
Art has honestly always been my outlet. I fell in love with calligraphy over 10 years ago, mostly just spending hours practicing lettering in my room. My mom was always my biggest cheerleader with my art. She was the one who constantly pushed me to keep going and keep creating. Even though she is not here anymore, I still feel her close every single time I pick up a brush. This whole page is really a tribute to the love for art she helped build in me.
Last year, I decided I wanted a new challenge, so I started painting large custom banners. This coming July is officially my one year anniversary of doing them, and it has been such an amazing ride so far. 🖌️✨
I love finding random, unique things to paint on, which brings me to what is coming next. To celebrate my banner anniversary this July, I am opening up custom commissions for hand painted Pokémon card binders. I love the nostalgia of it, and I cannot wait to show you guys the first few designs. 🃏🔥
