At first glance, these may look like medieval torture devices.

I promise they're not. 😄

These are some of the tools I use to help address tight muscles, restricted fascia, scar tissue, and areas that just aren't moving the way they are meant to.

Each tool has a purpose, they're all designed to help me work more effectively with your tissues and support better movement, less tension, and improved recovery.

The important part? The tool itself isn't the treatment.

It's knowing when to use it, when not to, and how best to tailor the session to the person on the table.

Sometimes the right tool makes all the difference.

Sometimes people apologize the entire session.

For how tight they are.
For not taking better care of themselves.

There was a time in my life when I thought I would always be teaching art.

For many years, I taught students how to create with their hands - how to slow down, observe closely, trust the process, and not panic when things didn’t turn out perfectly the first time.

At the time, I never could have imagined where life would eventually lead me.

After my own health journey, recovery experiences, and years of learning about the body, healing, fascia, movement, and the nervous system… I found myself doing work that looks completely different on the surface, but honestly feels connected in so many ways.

I may not teach in a classroom anymore, but teaching never really left me.
And art never really did either.

Whether I was helping someone work with clay or helping a client reconnect with their body, the process has always started the same way: with patience, listening, and learning how to work with the body instead of against it.

Looking back now, I can see that none of it was random.
Sometimes life takes us in directions we never expected… only to show us later that every chapter was preparing us for the next one.

And truthfully?
I’m grateful for every part of the journey.

Friendly reminder: recovery is not a race. 💛

Your body doesn’t heal faster jwhen you’ are frustrated, discouraged, or impatient with the process. Healing takes time - and sometimes the “best case scenario” we hoped for isn’t the reality our body needs. We are often told it will be shorter or easier than it is.

That does NOT mean you’re failing.
Your body is NOT broken.
And it definitely does NOT mean to give up.

Recovery is very rarely linear. Some days feel better than others. Ut us easy to overdo it when yoy feel good. Give yourself grace through all of it.

Your body is working hard every single day to repair, restore, and rebalance.
