Led by q***r music minister and ritual artist KJ Song, this offering is a space to sing, pray, celebrate, and remember what it feels like to belong to ourselves and to one another. Through music, ceremony, and shared presence, we create a container where every voice is welcome and every heart has a place.

Whether you used to sing and have forgotten, have always wanted to sing but never felt confident, or simply long for a deeper sense of connection and spirit, this gathering invites you to come exactly as you are. No musical experience is required. This is not a performance, it is a communal experience of praise, prayer, and aliveness.
Together, we will celebrate the beauty, resilience, and wisdom of the q***r community through song and ceremony. We hope you’ll join us for an evening of heartfelt connection, sacred mischief, and joyful expression.

In the curanderismo tradition, the 13 Winds (Aires) are sacred energetic forces that move through the body, land, and spirit, guiding healing, balance, and transformation across cycles of life from the shadows to light.

Rooted in Mesoamerican curanderismo, with threads from Aztec and Zapotec traditions, the understanding of “winds” speaks to the subtle forces that move through the body, the land, and the spirit.
In these lineages, illness is not only physical. It can be emotional, relational, energetic, even spiritual. The body is a meeting place of forces. These forces, called aires, can move in harmony… or become disturbed.
When they are in harmony, we feel vitality, clarity, connection.When they are disturbed… things fragment.

QiTanYo is an elemental journey weaving Qigong, Classical Ta**ra Yoga, breath meditation, intuitive somatic movement, and ritual.
This ceremonial practice softens the nervous system, supports digestion, awakens creative fire, and restores our connection to the sacred rhythms within and around us. Rooted in ancestral wisdom and devotional movement, it invites slowing down, listening, and cultivating Qi and Prana with ease.

An intimate evening exploring the subtle depths of musical & historical remembrance in West African Kora tradition

Join us for a rare evening of deep listening and musical remembrance in the West African kora tradition, where sound carries history, lineage, and living story.

Featuring Salif Bamakora (Gordon Hellegers), a kora musician of over 25 years and primary student of Madou Sidiki Diabaté for 20 years, this gathering weaves traditional Mande Djeliya repertoire with the cultural and historical currents that shaped it. Salif is a seasoned presenter on world stages, a foundational member of SIMRIT, and a periodic collaborator with Estas Tonne. Expect traditional gems, original compositions, and spontaneous improvisation.

An evening that is a ceremony of listening, learning and a doorway into the long memory of music. Bring your presence. The kora will do the rest.

Something slow and quietly powerful is gathering for the Temple right now, like the moment just before dawn when the light has not yet arrived but you can feel it in your bones.

February is carrying new offerings, new ceremonies, and new ways of gathering that are still ripening, still being listened into.
