Recovery is better together 💛

NeuroAnimation grads reunited at the Fast FWD Summit in Birmingham, Alabama earlier this month for a day of connection, learning, and a whole lot of hugs.

After stroke or brain injury, the right community can make the journey feel lighter. Seeing familiar faces, swapping wins, and cheering each other on is a reminder that nobody has to do this alone.

NeuroAnimation was also there to share how our program supports people after stroke, along with some exciting progress from our clients. 🧠✨

For years, Maggie's family had goals they wanted to work toward, and traditional approaches just didn't seem to help.

Parkinson's is a thief. Jack knows that. But, he also knows if he can steal back some independence and regain some functionality and dexterity, then nothing has been prematurely stolen from him. That determination is what brought him to NeuroAnimation.

As a result of NeuroAnimation, Jack has seen amazing gains. He says his daily life has improved physically and mentally. More than anything, this has given him HOPE! This can also be a path for you or those you know.

Whitney is back on the paddle court. 🎾

3.5 years ago, a stroke paralyzed her right side. Before that, she played paddle every single day for years. It wasn't just a hobby, it was part of who she was.

Her goal coming into NeuroAnimation was specific: toss the ball and release it with her right hand again. So that's exactly what she worked for.

She asked her nephew to take her down the aisle. 💍

Cort .on.wheels had the honor of taking his aunt and godmother, Andi, down the aisle to her new husband, Vince. He admitted he was a little nervous going in, but seeing the two of them together at the rehearsal made all of that disappear.

In Cort's words: "Just because you're in a wheelchair doesn't mean you can't do the beautiful things in life and be there for your family when they need you most."

This is what the work is really for. Not just the reps, but the moments they make possible.

Edwin's biggest goal after his stroke? Getting back on his motorcycle. 🏍️

From boot camp to the Parthenon 🏛️

NeuroAnimation grads Sandy and Jess just climbed the Acropolis alongside fellow graduate Maddi on her group trip to Greece last month. Ancient steps, uneven stone, a whole lot of hill, and all three conquered every bit of it.

That's the magic of the NeuroAnimation community: the connections made here don't end with the program, and there's nothing cooler than seeing our grads go out and share brand new experiences together.

This is what the work is for. Not just getting back to life, but getting back out into the world and saying yes to the adventure. Proof that the best chapters in life can come after the hardest ones. 💙🇬🇷
