💪🐟🫘Protein is important for muscle growth, satiety, and weight loss.

Most people do not struggle with getting enough protein at dinner, they struggle with getting enough in the morning and throughout the day.

⏱️Benefits of protein earlier in the day:
- Creates satiety and balanced energy
- Regulates blood sugar and appetite

🍎🥜🥕 ✨
- Pair snacks such as apples + peanut butter and carrots + hummus!
- Aim for 20-30 grams of protein at each meal, instead of all at dinner.
- Don’t neglect healthy fats, fiber, and whole grains!

Fast food is designed for speed and cravings—not necessarily for health. Many popular combos can deliver a full day’s worth of calories, sodium and saturated fat in one sitting. Yet with a bit of strategy, you can absolutely eat at the biggest chains without blowing up your health goals. I share some of my top picks via bottomlineinc.

Spotted—Upgraded airport food!!

I travel a lot, both for work and pleasure, and I often bring food with me— mostly snacks like nuts, fruit, veggies, and sourdough pretzels (my favorite!)—rather than rely on airport food.

I was pleasantly surprised by this yummy plant-based salad I got from . I loved the combo of chickpeas, edamame, and sweet potato over greens!! What a travel bonus!

What are your favorite travel foods?

What’s your favorite thing to do? Mine is to be by the water—whether it’s a walk on the beach, a boat cruise, or hanging by a lake. I love all things water!!! Being by the water makes me happy. How about you?

Treating yourself with kindness isn’t a setback — it’s a strategy. 💚

Research shows that people who practice self-compassion eat more mindfully, have higher diet quality, and experience less emotional eating than those who rely on harsh self-criticism.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s presence, intention, and grace — especially after the hard moments.

Save this as your reminder that how you talk to yourself around food matters just as much as what’s on your plate. 🌿
