A more sustainable food system starts with the people who produce our food.
At Climate Week NYC, Tara McCarthy, Alltech’s global vice president of ESG, will take part in a wide range of discussions focused on accelerating the food system transition — from financing change and navigating risk to addressing value flow, reducing food waste and scaling practical climate solutions. She will also speak at Regen House and join a panel at The NEST Campus, hosted in partnership with The Protein PACT and the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), exploring how collaboration across the food supply chain can deliver measurable environmental progress and stronger farm businesses.
On September 22, Tara will join a panel with leaders from EDF, World Wildlife Fund (WWF), ReFED and Food Systems for the Future at The NEST Campus for “Resilience & Reductions: Implementing Innovations and Scaling Solutions.” She’ll share Alltech’s Planet of Plenty Partnership Framework, connecting producers, processors, retailers and brands around shared environmental and economic outcomes, with producer profitability central to lasting progress.
On September 23, she’ll join a panel with leaders from Klopatek Livestock Solutions, Women in Ranching and HelloFresh at Regen House for “Beyond the Binary: Constructive Conversations on the Future of Protein.” Moderated by Futurity Food of the UCLA Rothman Family Institute for Food Studies, the discussion will explore cattle’s role in nutrition, food security and the environment.
