💚 Growing Together: Navigating Family Life & Supporting a Child with Special Needs 💚

We had a wonderful time at our recent Parent Meeting, where families came together to learn, connect, and support one another.

We were honored to welcome Jessika Boles, PhD, CCLS, Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University’s Department of Psychology and Human Development, as our presenter. Dr. Boles shared valuable insights during her presentation, “Growing Together: Navigating Family Life and a Child with Special Needs.”

The meeting provided an opportunity for families to gain helpful tools, hear new perspectives, ask questions, and connect with others who understand the unique joys and challenges of navigating family life and disability.

Thank you to Dr. Boles for sharing her expertise and to all of the families who joined us and helped make this meeting so meaningful! 💚

We’re excited to share that the Tennessee Department of Disability and Aging captured a special video highlighting our recent MAPS graduation! 💚

The video celebrates the hard work, growth, and accomplishments of our MAPS participants as they reached an important milestone in their journey. From learning new skills to building confidence and working toward greater independence, each graduate has so much to be proud of!
