Do you know someone living with a neurological condition?

Chances are, you do.

A parent. A grandparent. A spouse. A child. A friend. Maybe you.

Parkinson’s. MS. Stroke. TBI. Spinal cord injury. Cerebral palsy. Neuropathy, Dysautonomia/POTS...

Different diagnoses. Different journeys. But for many people, the effects aren’t temporary. They can mean years - sometimes a lifetime - of challenges with movement, muscle function, balance, mobility and independence.

Yet much of healthcare still happens in episodes.

The condition continues. So should our thinking about care.

That challenge is a big part of what drives us at Neuro20.

Rather than treating a specific neurological diagnosis, Neuro20’s FDA-cleared uses focus on function, including muscle re-education, range of motion, muscle spasm, disuse atrophy, local circulation and muscle performance.

Those functional abilities can play an important role in mobility, independence and quality of life for people living with many neurological conditions.

And when prescribed, that support can continue beyond the clinic and into the home.

Do you know someone living with a neurological condition or injury? What has been the biggest challenge in their journey?

How does Neuro20 actually work?

It’s a question we hear often — and the answer starts with something fundamentally different about the way Neuro20 delivers neuromuscular modulation.

Instead of treating one isolated area at a time, the Neuro20 Smart Suit incorporates 20 independently controlled electrode groups positioned across the body, engaging more than 44 muscles.

But the number of electrodes isn't really the point.

Independent control is.

Each electrode group can be individually adjusted, allowing a clinician to determine where stimulation is delivered and how those muscle groups are engaged within a treatment protocol.

Then comes an equally important part of the equation: movement.

Neuro20 combines Electrical Neuromuscular Modulation (ENM) with purposeful activity — whether that means a specific therapeutic exercise, functional movement or another activity selected by the treating clinician.

In simple terms:

TARGET → MODULATE → MOVE

20 independently controlled electrode groups.
44+ muscles.
One integrated system.

And because different patients have different functional needs, the technology gives clinicians the ability to build and adjust protocols around the individual rather than relying on a single predetermined whole-body program.

This is the foundation of how Neuro20 works.

Next in our Understanding Neuro20 series, we'll go a little deeper into what independent control actually means — and why it matters.

PATIENT VOICES | VETERAN 🇺🇸

Sometimes you witness a moment that reminds you exactly why you started.

This U.S. Marine Veteran lives with Parkinson’s disease and chronic back pain. He arrived for his first Neuro20 session using a cane, struggling with balance, and told us he couldn’t remember the last time he had been able to jog.

Then came his first session.

About 30 minutes later, he was jogging alongside his clinician.

He reported being pain-free.

And that smile? We don’t need to explain that part.

Every patient is different. Not everyone responds to Neuro20 in the same way, and individual results can vary significantly. But every once in a while, we witness a response that leaves everyone in the room looking at each other in disbelief.

This was one of those days.

And his story means even more to us for another reason.

He is the first Veteran to receive a Neuro20 HomeCare system for continued use at home.

So this isn’t his success story.

It’s Day One.

And with his permission, we’re going to let him take you along for what happens next. 🇺🇸💙

Nearly a decade ago, this was a conversation. Today, it is becoming reality.

Nearly a decade ago, Neuro20 Founder and CEO DJ Schmitt sat down with Dr. Kevin White, a spinal cord injury physician at the Tampa VA, to discuss an idea:

What if Veterans could continue meaningful neurological care at home?

Dr. White shared guidance and insight that helped shape the thinking behind what Neuro20 would eventually become.

What followed were years of development, investment, regulatory work, challenges, persistence and growing clinical experience.

This week, nearly a decade after that first conversation, a Neuro20 system was delivered to a Veteran in South Texas - not for a clinic, but for his home.

One system. One individual.

But for us, this moment represents something much bigger.

Our vision has never been simply to build a medical device. It is to help create a future of continuous neurological care, where the transition home doesn't have to mean the end of structured support.

What could that future eventually look like?

What if intelligent technology could help clinicians continually refine protocols based on a patient's progress?

What if objective outcomes could be tracked over time and integrated into the patient's medical record?

What if movement, blood pressure, heart rate and other meaningful measures could help clinicians better understand what is happening between visits — and identify when intervention may be needed?

What if appropriate follow-up could happen through telehealth, reducing unnecessary trips back and forth to a provider?

And ultimately, what if all of these technologies could work together to give patients a greater role in their own ongoing care while keeping their clinical team connected?

That is our vision of continuous neurological care.

Neuro20 is one piece of that future. And we know we won't build the rest of it alone.

It will take clinicians, researchers, healthcare systems, technology companies and innovators who share the belief that neurological care can become more connected, continuous and patient-centered.

If you're working toward that future too, we want to hear from you.
But that's tomorrow.

Today, we celebrate ONE.

One Veteran.
One Neuro20 system.
One home.

And from one, we work toward ten.
Then one hundred.
Then one thousand.
And we keep going.

To everyone who has advised us, challenged us, invested in us, researched with us, treated patients with us, built alongside us and, most importantly - believed in the mission: thank you.

And to the Veterans who inspired this mission in the first place, this milestone means more to us than we can adequately put into words.

Nearly a decade ago, it started with a question.
Today, Neuro20 is in a Veteran's home.

And we're just getting started. 🇺🇸

“Is Neuro20 for my condition?”

It’s one of the questions we hear most often.

But Neuro20’s FDA-cleared indications aren’t defined by a specific neurological diagnosis. They’re centered around function, muscle re-education, range of motion, relaxation of muscle spasms, prevention or retardation of disuse atrophy, increased local blood circulation, and improving or facilitating muscle performance.

That matters because people living with very different neurological injuries or conditions can share many of the same functional challenges and rehabilitation goals.

So perhaps the better question to ask your healthcare provider isn’t only:

“Is Neuro20 for my diagnosis?”

But also:

“Could Neuro20 be appropriate for what I’m trying to improve or maintain?”

Whether you’re a Veteran receiving care through the VA, Neurological Patient currently in rehabilitation, or continuing care at home, start with your goals and ask your healthcare provider whether Neuro20 may be appropriate for you.

Different diagnoses. Shared functional goals.

PATIENT VOICES | VETERAN 🇺🇸

Sgt. Hansen has spent years doing things he was told might be impossible.

A U.S. Army and Marine Corps Veteran, William broke his neck and fractured his spine in Iraq. He rebuilt his life through rehabilitation, work, family and eventually competitive Strongman.

But by 2023, he says he had reached a plateau in his strength and recovery.

That’s when Neuro20 became part of his routine.

William reports better muscle coordination, less daily pain, faster recovery and better sleep. And for him, those changes aren't just about lifting more weight or placing higher in competition.

William works 40–45 hours a week on his feet. He trains most mornings. And perhaps most importantly, he’s a dad to seven children — six daughters and a 4-year-old son.

His time, energy and ability to recover matter.

As William puts it, Neuro20 became the “missing ingredient” that helped him recover, manage his pain and sleep well at night — so he could keep doing the things that matter to him.

Yes, that includes placing 3rd at the Over 50 Masters Nationals and competing at the Arnold’s International Masters.

But it also means being able to keep showing up for work, for training, and for seven kids who call him Dad.

That’s the part of William’s story we love most. 💙🇺🇸

If you're a Veteran living with a neurological injury or condition, these numbers matter.

Behind the statistics are Veterans working every day toward greater movement, function and independence.

And for many, neurological needs don't end when a rehabilitation episode does.

Progress can take time. Maintaining progress takes work. And continued access to appropriate rehabilitation tools can matter long after someone returns home.

That's why we believe Veterans should know about the technologies and options available to discuss with their care teams.

Neuro20 is a patented, FDA-cleared whole-body neuromuscular modulation system available for federal procurement through the GSA Schedule.

If you're receiving neurological or rehabilitative care through the VA, ask your care team whether Neuro20 may be appropriate for your individual rehabilitation goals.

Your diagnosis may be different. Your next question can be the same.

PATIENT VOICES | VETERAN

Behind the numbers are real Veterans. Real lives. Real journeys.

Chris is a U.S. Air Force Veteran whose neurological injury profoundly changed his mobility and independence.

But his story didn’t end there.

He kept working. Kept training. Kept pushing toward greater function.

This video captures part of that journey, from relying on a wheelchair and significant assistance for movement to standing, walking and continuing to challenge his body, with Neuro20 incorporated into his rehabilitation.

And that’s what makes Chris’s story so powerful.

It isn’t one moment. It’s the progression.

Neurological recovery can be a long road, and every person’s journey is different. But stories like Chris’s remind us why continued rehabilitation, access to new technologies, and the opportunity to keep working toward greater independence matter.

This week, we’ve been talking about the neurological needs of America’s Veterans.

Chris puts a person behind those numbers.

We’re incredibly proud that Neuro20 has become one of the tools in his journey — and even more proud to watch him keep moving forward.

Always great to see how clinicians are actually using Neuro20 in practice.

Dr. Kaiser The Keiser Clinic shares how his team incorporates Neuro20 into neurological rehabilitation, including individualized stimulation during purposeful movement and the ability to extend training from the clinic into the home.

This is exactly the kind of clinical implementation we envisioned when developing Neuro20.

Thank you, Dr. Kaiser, for sharing your experience and continuing to explore what’s possible in neurological care.

Well worth the watch. 👇https://zurl.co/cuC31
