Ever feel like your body is stuck in “go mode”?

You’re tired, but you don’t feel truly restored. Your energy is unpredictable. Stress seems to affect you more than it used to. And sometimes it feels like your body just isn’t bouncing back the way you’d like.

That’s where the HPA axis comes into the conversation.

The HPA axis is part of the body’s stress-response system. It helps coordinate how the body responds to stress and then works to return things toward balance.

HPA Balance is a nutritional and herbal formula designed to support healthy HPA axis function and the body’s ability to adapt to everyday stress.

It provides targeted support for:
• Healthy stress-response function
• Energy and resilience
• HPA axis support
• Overall balance during times of stress

So rather than thinking about stress support as simply “how do I relax?”, it can also be helpful to ask: How am I supporting my body’s ability to respond to stress?

That’s why HPA Balance was one of three supplements we highlighted in our September newsletter to support the stress response.

💬 Comment “HPA” if you’d like to learn more about HPA Balance.

🧘‍♀️ Stretch It Out Saturday: Tight hips? Try this.

If you spend a lot of time sitting, driving, or working at a desk, your hip flexors can start to feel tight.

Try this simple hip-flexor stretch:

1️⃣ Kneel on one knee with your other foot planted in front of you.
2️⃣ Keep your chest upright and gently tuck your pelvis under.
3️⃣ Slowly shift your hips forward until you feel a gentle stretch through the front of the hip of your kneeling leg.
4️⃣ Hold for 20–30 seconds, then switch sides.

👉 Don't force the stretch. You should feel gentle tension—not pain.

Save this for the next time your hips feel tight!

When your feet hurt, you feel it with every step. 👣

That’s why we love having options like the LuxMaster HP HILT Laser in our toolbox.

This therapy can be used on areas like the arch and plantar fascia to support pain relief and recovery — helping you get back to doing what you love without your feet stealing the show.

Because your feet have places to go. 😉

Simple Ways to Support Nervous System Regulation 🧠

Your nervous system is designed to move between activation and recovery. Stress, work, poor sleep, constant stimulation, and everyday demands can make it harder to shift out of that “on” feeling.

The goal isn't to eliminate stress. It's to give your body regular signals that it is safe to slow down, recover, and reset.

Here are a few simple ways to support that process:

🌬️ Slow your breathing
Try making your exhale a little longer than your inhale. Slow, controlled breathing can help encourage a shift toward a calmer state.

🚶 Move your body
A walk, gentle stretching, or other comfortable movement can help your body process stress and break up long periods of sitting or tension.

🌿 Get outside
Time outdoors can give you a break from screens, noise, and constant stimulation while creating an opportunity to slow your pace.

🧘 Practice stillness
Meditation, prayer, mindfulness, or simply sitting quietly for a few minutes can help create space between you and the day's demands.

🤝 Connect with people you feel safe with
Positive social connection can be an important part of feeling safe and supported.

💓 Support the vagus nerve
Breathing and relaxation practices are simple ways to support the body's calming pathways. Vagus nerve stimulation is another option we’ll talk about later this month.

You don't have to do all of these.

Start with one. Even a few intentional minutes throughout your day can create more opportunities for your body to shift from constant activation toward recovery.

Next week, we'll take a closer look at the vagus nerve and why it's so important to nervous system regulation.

Why do your jeans feel tighter after you eat? 👖

Bloating is more than simply “eating too much.” That uncomfortable fullness or abdominal distension can be influenced by things like gas production, fermentation of certain carbohydrates, slower digestion, and changes in the gut microbiome.

One interesting area of digestive health is methane production in the gut. Certain gut microbes produce methane as they break down food, and research has found an association between increased intestinal methane and slower intestinal transit.

That’s where Atrantil® gets interesting.

Atrantil is a three-ingredient botanical formula containing Quebracho, Conker Tree, and Peppermint. Its ingredients are specifically formulated to support a healthy intestinal environment and digestive comfort, particularly around occasional bloating and gas.

It isn't a “one-size-fits-all” answer to bloating—because the reason someone bloats matters. But for the right person, Atrantil can be an interesting nutritional support option.

Your body may be asking for a break before you realize you need one.

Do you notice yourself…

• Feeling tired but unable to fully relax?
• Getting more irritable than usual?
• Carrying tension in your neck, shoulders, or jaw?
• Having trouble falling asleep?
• Struggling to focus?
• Feeling like you’re running on empty?

These can be signs that your body needs more recovery—not just more caffeine and more pushing through. 😉

Self-care isn’t about waiting until you’re completely burned out. It’s about noticing what your body is telling you and responding before you get there.

This Sunday, check in with yourself:
What has your body been trying to tell you lately?

Stretch it out Saturday! 💚

This standing stretch targets the side of your body while giving your inner thigh and hamstring a little movement, too.

Stand with your feet comfortably wide. Lean toward one leg while reaching the same-side arm up and over toward that leg.

✨ Keep your movement slow and controlled
✨ Reach without forcing it
✨ Breathe normally
✨ Repeat on both sides

Save this one for your next stretch break!
