The unofficial end of summer is almost here.

And right along with pumpkin spice and sweater weather comes something else we can count on every year: flu season.

This fall brings a few updates to flu, RSV, and COVID-19 vaccines, so we put together a simple guide to help make sense of it all.

Our Guide to Fall 2026 Vaccines covers what’s available, who should get what, when to get vaccinated, and what employers should know as they plan for the months ahead.

Flu shot season comes with questions. Lots of them.

Can the flu shot give me the flu? What if I’m allergic to eggs? Why is my arm sore afterward?

Our nurses hear many of the same questions at workplace flu shot clinics every year, so we rounded up 10 of the most common ones, along with straightforward answers to help employees feel more comfortable and confident before rolling up their sleeves.

And if you haven’t scheduled your workplace flu shot clinic yet, now is the time! Fall calendars fill up quickly, especially during September and October.

Check out the full list and start planning your clinic today.

Employee wellbeing looks a little different for everyone.

For some people, it’s finding time to move during the day. For others, it’s feeling less stressed, getting better sleep, staying on top of their health or simply having a workplace that feels supportive.

That’s why a good wellbeing program leaves room for all of it.

We’re breaking down what employee wellbeing really looks like and how workplaces can make it easier for people to feel their best.

"Panic pouches" are having a moment.

The idea is simple. Keep a small pouch with items that help you feel grounded when stress or anxiety starts building. Think of it as a first-aid kit for your nervous system.

People are filling them with things like:
• Sour candy
• Fidget tools
• Essential oils
• Earplugs
• A favorite tea bag
• Cooling packs or a portable fan
• Positive reminders or affirmations

While these tools won't treat an anxiety disorder, many mental health professionals agree they can be helpful for interrupting the cycle of escalating stress and bringing your attention back to the present. The key is using them as one tool among many, not as your only coping strategy.

We recently put together a guide on creating your own Calm Kit, including ideas you can personalize for yourself or your workplace. Link in comments.

Wellness shouldn't feel like a second job. 😅

Between tracking steps, drinking enough water, meal prepping, meditating, and everything else... it's a lot.

It doesn't have to be all-or-nothing, though. Start with 5 minutes instead of 45. Stretch while you brush your teeth. Dance in your kitchen instead of dreading the gym. And if you miss a day (or a month)? You haven't failed. Just pick it back up whenever.

Meetings have a reputation: they run long, they multiply, and somehow "quick sync" turns into 47 minutes. 😅

But meetings don't have to drain the life out of your workday. With the right five-minute reset (think breathing exercises, gratitude rounds, or a quick stretch break), your team can pause, refocus, and reconnect without adding anything extra to the calendar.

We rounded up 20 easy wellness activities you can drop into any meeting, in-person, remote, or hybrid.

42% of American adults are deficient in vitamin D.

Up to half don't get enough magnesium.

And most of them have no idea.

They just feel... off. Tired. Foggy. A little moody. Like their body is running on a low battery that never seems to fully charge.

Hidden nutrient gaps are one of the most overlooked reasons people feel less than their best, and they're extremely common even in people who think they eat well.

Our latest article breaks down the specific deficiencies most likely to affect energy, mood, and metabolism, and what HR teams can do to help employees address them.

Somewhere along the way, wellness got marketed as something you have to buy. A new supplement, a pricey app, another subscription you'll forget about in three months.

But self-care doesn't have to be expensive. It just has to be consistent.

Try one of these this week:
👟 Take a 10-minute walk after lunch
😴 Go to bed 30 minutes earlier
📓 Write down three things you're grateful for
📵 Put your phone down for the first 30 minutes of your morning

We rounded up simple, affordable ways to take better care of yourself. Link in comments.

What's the last thing you had to look forward to?

Research shows anticipation is one of the most underrated mood-boosters out there. It gives your brain a dopamine hit before the experience even happens.

The simple fix: keep plans stacked at three levels — near, mid, and far.

We broke down the whole framework (and gave you ideas for each tier). Link in comments.

Are you a Lion, Bear, Dolphin, or Wolf? 🦁🐻🐬🐺

It might sound like a personality quiz, but these chronotypes are actually tied to your body’s natural energy rhythms and sleep patterns.

Most workplaces are built around one energy type. And for the employees who don't fit that mold, it means doing their most important work at exactly the wrong time of day.

Our latest blog breaks down the four workplace chronotypes (Lion, Bear, Dolphin, and Wolf), what each one needs to thrive, and practical steps leaders can take to start designing schedules around human biology.

Find out which type your team is, and what to do about it. Link in comments.
