What a reptile-rific day at the Peoria DTA!

Members had a fantastic time welcoming the Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary to the DTA this week! As part of Reptile Week, members got to meet a variety of reptiles and learn about their unique traits, habitats, and behaviors.

Fun fact: Female iguanas are often much smaller than males, with some male iguanas growing nearly twice as large!

Thank you to Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary for bringing such an interactive and educational experience to the members. Hands-on learning makes every day more exciting! 💚🦎

There’s something special about finding joy in the simple moments. 🌱💙 A developmental home member spent time watering the garden, taking pride in caring for the plants and enjoying the beautiful day. These everyday moments of purpose, independence, and peace are what make a house feel like home.

Family Partners is currently seeking more safe, loving developmental homes for both adults and children with developmental disabilities. We are also here to help families looking for a supportive home environment for their loved ones.
