Wise Girl Workshops is coming to Sebastopol!
While we may be new to Sebastopol, Wise Girl Workshops has been
bringing girls together in Petaluma since 2012. For more than a
decade, girls from schools throughout Sonoma and Marin counties have
joined us to build confidence, make meaningful connections, and
develop practical skills for navigating growing up.
This fall, I’m so excited to bring our School Year Wellness Workshops
to Sebastopol with a new 10-week series for 4th–5th grade girls.
One of the things that has always made Wise Girl Workshops special is
that our members come from many different schools and communities.
Girls get the opportunity to step outside their usual social circles,
meet new people, and discover that connection and belonging can extend
far beyond their own school.
Throughout the 10 weeks, we’ll explore our Wise Girl Core Foundations,
including building self-esteem and confidence, managing anxiety and
stress, developing healthy coping skills, making wise decisions,
understanding technology’s impact, nurturing a positive body image,
and finding joy in nutrition and movement.
Throughout our 10 weeks together, we’ll use the Wise Girl Core
Foundations to explore topics like:
⭐ Building self-esteem and confidence
⭐ Managing anxiety and stress
⭐ Developing healthy coping skills
⭐ Making wise decisions
⭐ Understanding technology’s impact
⭐ Nurturing a positive body image
⭐ Enjoying nutrition and movement
And, of course, we’ll do it the Wise Girl way, with plenty of games,
activities, conversation, snacks, laughter, and connection along the
way.

Girls do NOT need to attend the same school to join. In fact, meeting
girls from other schools is part of what makes these groups so
special.
