A rare beauty still waiting for someone to discover just how truly special she is.

And somehow, this beautiful 3-year-old coated Xoloitzcuintli mix is still waiting for her forever family.

Did you know Xolos have been stealing hearts for over 3,000 years?

These ancient pups are smart, loyal, athletic, and total lovebugs with their people. And Sheila? She’s got all that charm, plus her own goofy little personality that makes her extra special. 🐾

But Sheila is more than her rare and beautiful heritage.

She is affectionate, intelligent, curious, athletic, loyal, and wonderfully goofy. She loves exploring new places, going on walks and hikes, and then curling up beside her favorite person for some well-earned cuddles.

Sheila’s journey hasn’t been easy. After losing her beloved owner, she and her companion C**t were surrendered by family. Her entire world changed, but her ability to love never did.

She is house-trained, crate-trained, spayed and continuing to make wonderful progress with her recall and leash skills. She adores children, especially girls, and enjoys being around other dogs. She would thrive with a family ready to provide exercise, enrichment, structure, and lots of love.

And yes… she may even “sing” to you! Her adorable vocalizations are just one of the many things that make this rare girl so unforgettable. 🎶

Sheila isn’t looking for a perfect family. She’s looking for her family.

WE’VE SHARED THE HAPPY NEWS, BUT Gianna’s GOTCHA MOMENT DESERVES ANOTHER LOOK! 🐾

We know we’ve shared Gianna’s adoption news before, but how could we not share these precious photos of her with her forever family? 🏡

At just 5 months old, Gianna’s journey brought her to a family who chose her and gave her the chance to grow up surrounded by love, safety, and care.

We’re so grateful to Gianna’s forever family for welcoming this sweet girl into their hearts and home. Thank you for giving her the loving family, safe place, and beautiful future she deserves! 💛

He’s Come So Far to Find Love. Now Rocko Just Needs Someone to Choose Him 🥹

This sweet young German Shepherd mix spent the beginning of his life isolated in a backyard, with little human interaction and too much time confined to a small crate. But despite his difficult start, Rocko’s loving spirit never faded.

Since being rescued, he’s completed a professional board-and-train program and blossomed in foster care. He’s learning what it means to be part of a family, and he’s ready for someone who will give him the chance to keep growing.

Rocko is affectionate, loyal, and intelligent. He enjoys playing with other dogs, is house-trained and neutered, and is comfortable around ranch animals, including chickens, ducks, pigs, horses, and turkeys. His adoption also includes ongoing support and group training classes with his professional trainer to help him and his future family succeed together. 💛

Rocko would thrive with an active person or family who can offer daily exercise, continued training, patience, and plenty of companionship.

He doesn’t need a perfect home, just one committed to helping him succeed, celebrating his progress, and loving him for who he is. 🥹

Meet Max, a handsome 5-year-old boy who never asked to be left behind 🥺

Max was abandoned at a home back in February, and despite everything he’s been through, he remains the sweet, affectionate, playful companion every family would be lucky to have.

At around 20 pounds, Max has so much love and happiness to bring into someone’s life. 💛

Max is approximately 5 years old and weighs around 20 pounds.

He’s affectionate, loves being around people, and has been around children. He also gets along with a Chihuahua, enjoys playing fetch and going for walks, and loves car rides. 🚗

Max is healthy and up to date on his vaccinations, ready to bring lots of love and happiness to his future family!

Just imagine coming home to Max’s happy face, spending afternoons playing fetch, taking little adventures together, and having a loyal companion by your side. These are the simple joys he deserves to experience with a family of his own. 🏡

Max will also come with his food and flea and tick medication to help his new family get started. He is not yet neutered, so his future adopter will need to arrange his neutering.

We’re sharing Max’s story to help a friend find him the loving forever home he deserves. While we wish we could give every dog a home ourselves, sometimes helping them find the right person starts with simply sharing their story.

Max has already experienced being left behind. Now, we hope his next chapter brings him the stability, kindness, and unconditional love he deserves.

Can You Imagine Him Spending His Golden Years Without a Family? 💔

But behind that beautiful face is a boy over 8 years old who is still waiting.

His name is Garrison.

At over 8 years old, Garrison has already reached the stage of life when he should be enjoying the simple things: a soft bed, a familiar voice calling his name, a gentle hand resting on his head, and someone who chooses him every single day. Instead, he is still waiting for his forever family. 💔

He just needs someone to sit beside him when the house is quiet. Someone to welcome him home after a long day. Someone who will make room for his big, 60-pound body on a cozy bed. 💛

This sweet German Shepherd/American Staffordshire Terrier mix has so much to offer. He is calm, affectionate, loyal, and house-trained. He is neutered, does well with children ages 6 and older, and can get along with respectful, calm dogs.

Garrison came to us from Oakland Animal Services, where he quickly became a shelter favorite because of his loving personality.

And yet, his forever family has not found him.

We can't help but wonder how many more sunsets he'll watch go by before someone looks at him and sees what we see. 🥺

Garrison doesn't need someone to give him more years. He needs someone to make the years ahead count. 💛

Someone who understands that adopting an older dog isn't choosing less time to love. It's choosing to make the time you have together mean everything.

For 7 years and counting, Coldwell Banker has proudly hosted its annual dog adoption event, a wonderful tradition dedicated to giving deserving rescue dogs a second chance at the loving homes they deserve.

This year, we’re so excited to share that Lola, one of Roxy’s Ranch Haven’s rescues, will be there.

At 2 years and 10 months old and 70 pounds, Lola may be a big girl, but her heart is even bigger. Lola is affectionate, friendly, gentle, smart, curious, and wonderfully funny. She loves being close to her people, gives the sweetest kisses, and has a playful personality that is sure to make you smile. And when it comes to tennis balls, Lola is all in! Toss one her way and you’ll see her joyful side shine.

Lola is spayed and ready for her forever home.

She has so much love and loyalty to give, and we’re hoping this event might be the day she finally meets the family she’s been waiting for. 🥹

Our Dancing Queen Is Still Waiting for Her Forever Home! 💛

Nessa has been with us at Roxy’s Ranch Haven, but she still hasn’t found the family she’s been waiting for. And if this video shows us anything, it’s that this girl has SO much joy to give! 🥹

Just look at her doing her amazing happy dance! Nessa’s fun, playful personality shines through, and we hope the right family gets to experience this side of her every single day. 💃

Nessa is a 1-year-old, 35-pound Pit Bull mix with a sweet, gentle heart. She loves being around her people, enjoys companionship, and has so much personality packed into her little 35-pound frame. She’s also great with kids and can live with mild-tempered dogs, but she is not good with cats, so her forever home should be cat-free. 🐶❤️

Nessa has been through a difficult start, including a serious eye infection, but through it all, she has remained loving, affectionate, and full of life. She deserves a family who will continue to give her the patience, care, and reassurance she needs while helping her thrive.

She isn’t asking for anything complicated, just a safe home, a loving family, a cozy bed, and someone who will never give up on her. 🏡

Her adoption also includes the opportunity to attend group training classes, giving Nessa and her future family a chance to build an even stronger bond.

They only know that they’re waiting.

Behind every rescue dog is a story we may never fully know.

And right now, we need your help. We urgently need more foster families willing to open their homes and hearts to dogs who desperately need a safe place to land. 💛

Imagine going from a loud, unfamiliar shelter to a quiet home, a soft bed, a full bowl, a warm place to sleep, a gentle hand, and someone finally saying, “You’re safe now.”

For a dog who has known very little stability, those simple things can mean everything. Fostering doesn’t have to be forever. Even opening your home for a short time can give a dog the chance to decompress, learn what safety feels like, build confidence, and prepare for the forever family they’ve been waiting for. 🏡

And you won’t be doing it alone. We will provide you with support, supplies, veterinary care, and help promoting your foster dog through social media and adoption events.

We especially need foster homes in the Bay Area and Sacramento regions, where fosters can also help with transportation to veterinary appointments and adoption events in Marin and Sonoma Counties.

You don’t need a perfect home. You simply need a little space, a little patience, and a heart willing to say yes.

Your yes could mean one less dog waiting in a shelter, one more dog who gets to sleep peacefully, one more dog who learns that humans can be kind, and one more dog who gets the chance to find a family. 💛
