Are Pet Owners Confused on How to Keep My Pets Healthy?
If you are like most pet parents, you are barraged with marketing representing all types and brands of foods, diets, treats, health and medical health, training and a ton of pet products over the last sixty years I’ve witness an industry grow from infancy to a robust main stream part of our daily lives. With this growth we went from pets being in our lives toa complex matrix of decision making of how I keep my pet. Holistic vs. allopathic medical, vaccine or not, what food or diet, collar or harness,” preventive” drugs or natural solutions, how do you choose?
As you can see from the above choices, your brain will be all over the place and your choices affect every aspect of your pet’s life. Do I use a flea or parasite “preventative” that has an effect of seizures or neurological issues or a food that will cause diabetes? These are tough questions we must face when caring for our pets and sometimes even ourselves and families.
In my world of natural health and healing, I talk with clients daily about these exact challenges that we face. Look at parasites, do we poison the animal to kill or prevent a “bug” or do we find a way for the body to defend itself? Can we as pet parents create a lifestyle where the body can prevent the health challenge that seem ramped in today’s crazy, high-tech world? Can all these health challenges really be eliminated and/or be prevented with simply good planning and decision making on our part?
I’m up in the middle of the night writing this piece because of divine inspiration. To me, the solutions seem so easy, but to implement them with the marketing pressures, it can seem impossible. I can click on the computer or my television and in minutes see an ad for something or a problem my pet may get or have that is the fix all to that issue. Click or call NOW and we have the answer. We see this every day.
What if I told you that life, the natural body is designed to heal itself, to rebuild from the cellular base, if we allow it to do so? The tools have all been given to us in natural forms, though foods including natural herbs and botanicals, natural living water, light (sunlight) and clean air. All we need to do is search for these magical ingredients to achieve our goals of natural healthy bodies.
Why are we falling for all this marketing hype watching our pets, our children, and our families suffer like never before? Illness, disease, and ill health do not develop out of nowhere. All have a root cause that we have induced through our lack of understanding of the basics of our natural environment. We, and our pets cannot be in a healthy state if we bombard our bodies with unnatural chemical-based foods, cleaning products, and pharmaceuticals.
It’s time to take a stand. Read those labels, buy and use clean nature based products. Insist on quality aver price and make our quality of life the priority for your pets and family.

Did you know restaurants are not required to disclose their ingredients? And many won't even tell you if you ask.
It’s maddening because knowing what's actually in our food is the most important thing to know if we want to improve our health.
Thankfully, most major fast food chains like McDonald's, Taco Bell, and Wendy's do publish their ingredients on their websites...
But Burger King – the third most popular fast food burger chain in America – has been a holdout for years, keeping the public in the dark about what’s really in their food.
This is why the Food Babe Army has been asking them to list their ingredients online like every other major fast food chain does…
And guess what?
THEY FINALLY DID IT.
Burger King recently published their ingredients on their website with zero announcement. And now we know why they have been keeping them under wraps.
Beware of these ingredients at BK:
VEGETABLE OILS: This includes seed oils like canola oil, cottonseed oil, and soybean oil — which lead to chronic inflammation in the body. These oils are processed to DEATH, with chemical solvents, steamers, neutralizers, de-waxers, bleach and deodorizers.
HYDROGENATED OILS: Intensely processed at high temperatures with chemicals to transform them into clear, bland, and odorless products. Small amounts of trans fat are formed during the intense processing. Trans fats are strongly linked to heart disease and increased heart attack risk, even in small amounts.
MONO AND DIGLYCERIDES: Industrial emulsifier made from processed seed oils like soybean, canola, or hydrogenated oils. Often contains hidden trans fats that don't have to be listed on the label — and trans fats are linked to heart disease and inflammation.
DATEM: A dough strengthener that can contain hidden industrial trans fats, strongly linked to heart disease and type 2 diabetes.
CALCIUM PEROXIDE: This bleaching agent and dough conditioner is banned in foreign countries including China, and also from some natural food stores like Whole Foods.
POTASSIUM IODATE: Dough conditioner not approved in Europe. High-dose lab studies show oxidative cell damage, and too much iodine from it can disrupt thyroid function.
NATURAL FLAVORS: Essentially the exact same thing as artificial flavor, but derived from substances found in nature. Proprietary mixtures contain preservatives, emulsifiers, solvents and other additives such as sodium benzoate, glycerin, potassium sorbate, and propylene glycol — none of which are labeled.
DIMETHYLPOLYSILOXANE: A silicone added to restaurant fryers as an anti-foaming agent — and it is the same material used to make Silly Putty, caulking, and silicone breast implants.
