One of the easiest breakfasts to meal prep when you’re busy, training hard, and still trying to hit your nutrition goals: protein overnight oats.

Prep a few at once and breakfast is DONE for the next few days.

My go-to:

• ¾ cup rolled oats
• Chia + h**p seeds
• 1 scoop whey protein
• 1 tbsp slivered almonds
• Milk of choice
• 1 tbsp peanut butter
• 1 tsp honey

Mix it all together, refrigerate overnight, then top with fruit + yogurt in the morning.

You’re getting carbs for training + protein for recovery + fats and fiber to keep you satisfied.

Simple nutrition > making everything complicated.

Save this one for your next meal prep day.

What you eat before training matters — but when you eat it matters just as much.

The closer you get to your workout, the simpler your fuel should be.

90+ minutes before:
Carbs + a little protein and fat. You have more time to digest.

Around 60 minutes:
Carb-focused, lower fat + lower fiber. Enough to fuel you without feeling heavy.

30 minutes or less:
Think FAST carbs. Easy to digest, quick energy, minimal gut stress.

Toast + jam. Banana. Applesauce. Sports drink. Gummies. It doesn’t have to be complicated.

The goal is simple: show up fueled without showing up with a stomach full of food.

And remember — your gut can be trained too. Test your fueling during training so you know exactly what works for YOU before race day.

Save this for your next training session.

HYROX athletes — you probably don’t need more supplements. You need the right ones.

Walk through any race expo and you’ll see everything promising more energy, faster recovery, better performance and fat loss.

But when you actually look at the research, the list of supplements worth your money gets pretty short.

My HYROX supplement ranking:

1. Creatine monohydrate — one of the strongest evidence bases in sports nutrition
2. Caffeine — proven performance benefits when dosed correctly
3. Protein — useful when you aren’t hitting your needs through food
4. Beetroot/nitrates — potential endurance benefit, especially for running
5. Beta-alanine — useful, but lower priority

And the stuff I’d save my money on?
BCAAs if you already eat enough protein, underdosed proprietary pre-workouts, “fat burners” and detox products.

Supplements should support good training, nutrition, carbs, hydration and sleep — not try to replace them.

Swipe through for the full breakdown + dosing.

Save this before your next supplement haul.
