Here's what I want people to understand.

When a lab comes back "within normal limits," what that means is: you are somewhere inside a very wide range built around the average of a population that is itself declining. Being in the bottom quarter of "normal" is not the same as having enough hormone to feel like yourself.

Optimal and normal are not the same thing. And a lot of women and men are living in that gap — exhausted, foggy, gaining weight, losing drive — and being told everything is fine.

It isn't fine. The labs just aren't telling the whole story.
