Flu season is here, and getting your flu shot is one of the simplest ways to protect yourself, your family, and our community. Redding Rancheria Trinity Health Center is hosting a free flu shot clinic, and we invite community members to reserve an appointment.

🎀 Redding Rancheria had a wonderful time attending Shasta Regional Medical Center’s VIPink Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon. It was an afternoon focused on education, connection, and community.

We appreciated the opportunity to learn more about breast cancer, the importance of early detection, and caring for our health through everyday choices, including staying active and eating well. 💗

A heartfelt thank you to Shasta Regional Medical Center for hosting such an informative and inspiring event. We’re grateful to the speakers for sharing their knowledge and personal experiences and bringing hope and encouragement to this important conversation.

Together, we can keep the conversation going and support those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer. 🎀

🌲 Redding Rancheria’s Great Outdoor Challenge 🌲

The Great Outdoor Challenge inspired participants to stay active, explore nature, and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. From trails and peaks to waterways and scenic views, participants embraced opportunities to get moving, connect with nature, and create memories with family and friends. 🥾🏔️💧

Whether they hiked a new trail, reached a scenic overlook, paddled on the water, or simply spent time outdoors, every adventure supported wellness and encouraged connection with the world around them. 🌿

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Great Outdoor Challenge and made the most of the great outdoors. 🍃

🌿 Elder Nutrition & Wellness Program 🌿

Redding Rancheria Tribal Health System’s Elder Nutrition & Wellness Program provides Native elders with an opportunity to stay active, connect with others, and focus on healthy living in a fun and supportive environment.

The program meets every Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the third floor of the Liberty Street Clinic. Participants enjoy activities focused on nutrition, movement, wellness, and social connection.

The program is open to:

Native adults ages 55 and older

Redding Rancheria Tribal Members ages 50 and older

Eligible spouses

Individuals with disabilities who live with an eligible elder

Come join us, stay active, connect with others, and make wellness part of your week!

Join us at Redding Rancheria Tribal Health Center for our Halloween Flu Vaccine Clinic on Monday, October 26.

📅 Date: October 26
🕗 Time: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
🍽️ Please note: The clinic will be closed for lunch from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
📍 Location: Redding Rancheria Tribal Health Center, third floor in the Lassen and Shasta Rooms

Vaccines available include:

💉 Flu vaccines
💉 High dose flu vaccines
💉 COVID vaccines

All patients can receive a Redding Rancheria water bottle while supplies last. 💧

Children can also choose an inflatable pool toy or laser tag set while supplies last. 🎁
