Today’s luau was a hit with both residents and staff! The activities staff were up and serving food, learning the hula, and having a great time with our entertainers, The Cowboy and the Hula Girl! They were a huge hit and so entertaining. Thank you so much Lani and Teddy 🙏🥳

The other day we held a Renaissance Day filled with medieval music in the activities room, fun games such as pool noodle jousting and archery, snacks, a pie eating contest, and a dunk tank which we titled “Dunk the Fool”. Some of the staff and residents dressed for the occasion and others wore flower crowns or jester hats. It was a great day filled with plenty of laughs!

Yesterday we had a wheelchair wash (like a car wash) out in the courtyard and the residents loved it! They got to cool down in the 90 degree heat under the rainbow that spritzed water on them and followed that up with popsicles. Going to have another one next month. Always looking for fun and different things to do 🌞

We enjoyed Shasta Lake on a bright sunny day thanks to Bridge Bay Resort for providing us with their patio boats. The residents and staff thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated this special experience. New memories were created and we are all so grateful. Many thanks to the staff of Bridge Bay for accommodating us 💖☀️💖☀️💖☀️💖☀️💖 Lunch at Shasta pizza Company followed. A splendid day indeed!
