Nothing changes today, so it’s easy to think, “I’ll deal with it later.” But September is when you’ll actually have the information you need.

Your Annual Notice of Change arrives in September, and Medicare Open Enrollment runs October 15–December 7.

Don’t wait until December to start reviewing your options. Give yourself time to compare your plan, your medications, and your costs without feeling rushed.

We’ve covered a lot about the Part D changes—the subsidy, the $2,400 cap, formularies, and the timeline. So let’s make it simple.

When your Annual Notice of Change arrives in September, open it.

Check two things:
✅ Are your medications still covered the same way?
✅ What is your new premium?

That’s really all you need to do for now. You don’t need to figure everything out today.

Something looks confusing or you’re not happy with what you see? That’s the time to reach out—not January.
