This week, let’s talk about something that doesn’t get enough attention: foot health.

Many people focus on where they feel pain—low back, hips, knees, neck, or shoulders—but rarely stop to consider what may be happening below them.

When the feet aren’t functioning properly, the effects can travel upward through the ankles, knees, hips, pelvis, spine, and even into the neck. Small deviations in how we stand, walk, and distribute weight can create compensation patterns throughout the entire body.

A few things to consider:

✅ Rotate your shoes instead of wearing the same pair every day.
✅ Choose footwear that properly supports your arch type and daily activities.
✅ Pay attention to worn-out shoes that may be changing your gait.
✅ Strengthen and stretch your feet and ankles—not just your calves and hips.

Foot exercises, toe mobility work, arch strengthening, and ankle mobility drills are often overlooked but can play a significant role in improving posture, movement, balance, and overall comfort.

Your body is a connected system. Sometimes the source of discomfort isn’t where the pain is showing up—it’s where the compensation started.

WHY YOUR HANDS GO NUMB AT NIGHT 🛑

Do you wake up at night or in the morning with tingling, numbness, or pins and needles in your hands? Do you feel the need to shake them to get the sensation back?

Most people think it’s circulation… but in many cases, the real cause is nerve compression during sleep.

The median nerve travels from your neck through your arm and into your hand. When you sleep with bent wrists or your neck in a rotated position, pressure builds along this pathway.

This interrupts nerve signaling.
