On September 2, the United Nations General Assembly adopted its first resolution specifically dedicated to access to assistive technology—recognizing its importance to independence, inclusion, education, employment, and economic participation.

For Mobility Trust, the resolution reinforces the principle behind our work: making assistive technology available isn't enough. We also have to make it financially accessible.

From wheelchair-accessible vehicles and mobility equipment to home modifications, access to the right technology can change what's possible in someone's everyday life.

July is Disability Pride Month. This month celebrates the contributions of the disability community while recognizing disability as a natural and valuable part of human diversity.

At Mobility Trust, Disability Pride Month is a reminder of why we do what we do. Every day, we work to expand access to the financing people need for wheelchair accessible vehicles, home modifications, and other accessibility solutions that help increase independence and opportunity.

April is Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) Awareness Month—a time to recognize the strength, resilience, and ongoing challenges faced by veterans living with spinal cord injuries and other disabilities.

Thousands of Americans—including many veterans—experience life-changing spinal cord injuries every year. Organizations like PVA step in to ensure these individuals have access to the care, benefits, employment opportunities, and support they’ve earned through their service.

From advocating for accessible communities and quality healthcare to advancing research and providing adaptive sports and career programs, PVA is working every day to help veterans live with greater independence and dignity.
