Welp! Under this New Moon in Virgo (I am a Virgo), I have decided to let go of this annoying Facebook name change.
Let me give you some background.
So, back in 2022, I was in the process of opening a second location in the old Methodist church downtown Waterford. Unfortunately, plans unfolded in a rotten way, I lost TONS of money, and, for a short time, my faith in humanity. I had heard through the small-town grapevine that people were praying for my failure. People of faith had been asking for my business to have a downfall.
Here is where it gets even more twisty...someone amongst the prayer group was known to be a hacker. Weirdly, I was hacked, with the worst type of hacking. My personal account disabled, the local police involved, and terrible rumors ensued.
Of course, if you know me, you know I do not stand for any BS whatsoever so this "attack" was just a cruel joke run by people that will be judged far more than they were of me.
Unfortunately though, the hacking and disabling of my account led my business profiles to have little, to no ability for change from the way they were set up and functioning at that time, which means my rebrand to name my new studio space "Shine Bright Studio" will never be an option with my current business page.
So, this new moon is asking me to just let it go. This hell-ish history is forcing me to either create a new page (no thank you) or live with my old name while the rest of my rebrand truly shines bright.
It just is what it is. Maybe I am supposed to always remember where I came from to find gratitude for where I am now. So every time you or I open the Riverside Studio page and see the old name, it will just be a glimmer and shimmer of the journey to now.
To those that prayed for my downfall (you know who you are), I thank you for helping me become stronger, wiser, and more confident in who I am than ever before. And to those of you that continue to support my business and all the other beautiful practitioners that work out of my space, thank you. Your light is golden and is forever treasured.
Happy new moon. As always, shine bright ~
