Your identity shouldn’t determine whether you can get the health care you need.

As we celebrate and the vibrant ACOG community, we recognize that not everyone has access to safe, inclusive care.

We believe everyone deserves access to compassionate, patient-centered care backed by evidence and science at every stage. Our work to protect the patient–physician relationship and keep health care decisions between patients and their ob-gyns helps put that belief into action.

We will continue to defend ob-gyns’ ability to deliver the respectful care their patients deserve—free of restrictions, burdens, or stigma—so everyone can feel safe showing up as they are.

this little kid grew up to email healthcare administrators and negotiate insurance contracts so doulas can make a living wage doing care work...which is honestly not what anyone predicted from the art degree but it turns out being “too sensitive” is actually pretty useful when you’re trying to build a healthcare system that humanizes both patients and workers.
